May 5th floyd, November Canelo, next year Khan. There is not a bigger 3 fight deal available or a bigger 2 fight deal available but Manny and Chavez Jr. is comparable.
put your hate towards arum aside, i know u hate the old bastard but obviously cotto knows whats best for him. u dont think staying with top rank is a bad idea u think staying with arum is a bad idea u see what i mean, your hate towards arum runs deep. its not even about top rank or GB, u hate arum so thats why cotto staying with top rank is a bad move to u. u want cotto to leave top rank so u can come here and say see told ya bob is a fraud, etc. etc. etc.!

I'm not sure why people are screaming for Cotto to leave Top Rank. They made him at least 15 million in his last three fights against pretty easy opponents, with headliners in Las Vegas, MSG and Yankee Stadium.

Mayweather vs. Cotto would NOT happen if he jumped over to GB because Mayweather's big argument of "pacquiao fights my leftovers" would go out the window. Mayweather has called Cotto a shot fighter in several recent interviews. "Pacquiao beat a shot Cotto who already got beat by Margarito"

Nobody at GB means anything at 154 except Canelo and they wouldn't match him with Cotto any time soon. They are not going to risk a kid who might have another ten years in the game against a fighter with three or four fights left. Cotto would only be used by GB as a name opponent to build Canelo's resume. GB is saving Canelo for a Mayweather fight, whether it takes place in May or later on.

Cotto comes from defeating Mexico's Antonio Margarito last Saturday via TKO10, who gave him his first professional loss in 2008.

"I have no doubt about it (I can defeat Pacquiao). I understand that yes, I understand that with courage, with the quimic that is now in the group, we have no doubt about that, "Cotto said in an interview with Primera Hora in the home municipality of Caguas.

Pacquiao is the current welterweight champion and beat Cotto in 2009 via knockout in the twelfth round. So, Cotto is waiting for the circumstances for a possible rematch with the Filipino, considered the best pound for pound boxer in the world.

"Everything falls over time. This opportunity (against Margarito) I was given to me three years later. I'm not saying I'll be here three years later from now, but if it provide to me ill fight him, everything is possible, "said Cotto.

what the **** are you talking about imbecile?

Pac already beat miguel handily, and i doubt that a second fight would look much different.
Mayweather would also beat Miguel. But that fight at least is something new.

Cotto should fight Mayweather or Canelo.

I think your definition of "quitting" is about as skewed as Margaritos sense of fair play.

I dont doubt it to be honest if I take my hate for you cottosexuals out of my heart for a moment.

That was a winnable fight for Miguel and I insist that Miguel is the fighter who has inflicted the most damage on Manny, well that was until Manny fought Marquez again but at welter that was the tuffest fight I believe for Manny Pacquiao.

Miguels Problem in that fight was there were times he would stay in there too long either working with combinations or looking to counter he would stay in there just a tad bit too long and get nailed and either dropped or seriously hurt.

he makes that adjustment and uses his feet and runs a little like he did with Margarito and plays counter puncher role he has a good chance of winning that fight IMO you can say other wise but if the fight comes off I want you to keep this post in mind because I think he can beat Manny Pacquiao

he CAN beat manny, and he almost certainly will make the fight closer.

The first fight however left nothing unsolved. Theres no reason to have rematches that are pointless.

Should we let Mosley rematch floyd because he could do better this time? No.. theres no point.

Seriously, was there any questionmarks left after their first fight?
I love Cotto, and realize HE wants to avenge losses.
But if pac seriously signs to fight him again he should be shunned by the fans.

But i guess since pac "fights whoever my promoter wants me to" this is a lock to happen.

Agreed. We can all understand wanting to get paid, but Miguel fighting either Floyd or Manny is a rip-off for the fans. A Pacquiao rematch would be especially insulting, since Cotto was already severely beaten by Manny in a one-sided affair. A Mayweather bout wouldn't be much better; Floyd would box Miguel's ears off. Cotto has seen better days, but he can still bring excitement...just not against the top marquis names.

He lost to manny if he rematches him and beats him there is a point to that and you want him to fight Mayweather or Canelo? are you serious? he did not look as good as you think Saturday, this was basically the same fight with the Drs ending the fight was going the same dirrection at the time of stoppage and you want him to take those fights?
