he doesn't at all, i've seen b-hop demonstrating to evans.
i've seen mosley on the speedbag.
look at the videos below of roy & marquez, they prove my point.

look at the other video below, that guy specialises in speed bags, he's even wrote books specifically on speed bags & exercises and been in the game for 30+ years

look up manny pacquaio, mosley, roy, duran, tsyzu etc etc

people have different methods but i am yet to see one person use a speed bag that way, quite frankly if that is the case then the speed bag is too high up & needs lowering.

are you comparing how ATGs work the bag etc, to how ****m shows amateurs proper technique for conditioning?

What aren't you understanding. I've trained with ****m and his sons (concrete jungle) for a long time. I came up with Tiger, Rock and Bear (Allen brothers), ****m was my first trainer.

I'm telling you how he likes his speed bag work. BHop isn't ****ms fighter, he is Bouie Fischers fighter. Working the bag a little higher than usual helps strengthen your shoulders and stop you from dropping your guard when they get tired, etc.

Most trainers will tell you they prefer the bag raised so that the elbows are above the shoulders, that's how you get the full work out.

Look at any speed bag session with pacman, oscar, jmm, anyone, you will notice that their elbows are above their shoulders.

That's what I'm saying. Most world class fighters train like that.

all that will do is put extra strain on your outer delt, if it's that high it will lead to inefficiency. a bag too high will make you moves your arms more thn they should. the belly of the bag should be in line with your nose/mouth this will allow you to easily pass through the bag and bring your hands back etc

You are exactly right, which is why that's proper bag work. ****m teaches to keep hands up while moving them, the front delts are most important in maintaining a proper stance. He likes an elevated speed bag - not at eye level, forehead level usually. Not so high that you are hitting punching UP but at an angle, that's propper bag work. it also feels the best too.

Where the bag is at in that trick video is poor positioning, he's barely getting a work out in with it there and only his rhythm is getting any work.
