thats why i think its harder to make a case for foster and ali than lewis, lol, lewis is easier to defend cause this alone, lol, he beat every available opponent out there and hes beaten every one hes ever faced, hes got a stack of names onn his resume, lol, only fight missing was bowe, ali had many fights that he looked bad, some that he won that others felt he got lucky, and lets not forget ali stayed for too long so that works against him, lewis retired before the vitali rematch talks began but he knows why, lol, lewis is a smart man
Could Lennox Lewis be the greatest ?

Lets see...Who were the top 5 greatest Heavyweights from 1988-2004. The year Lennox became pro to the year he retired.
In no order:
Mike Tyson
Rid**** Bowe
Evander Holyfeild
Lennox Lewis
Vitali Klitschko
Guess who has the best H2H record of those 5?

So did rocky Marciano, but when looking at him under the microscope, who did he really beat? Tyson's win over an old but but still very good Larry Holmes is better than anything on Lennox record.Comment

rahman
Lewis faught alot of former champions when they were over the hill. Bruno, Holyfield,Tyson, Tucker, Morrison....
none all time great champion got knock out like lewis did against McCall ands Rahman.
Lewis was troubled by men with good jabs. I rate Holmes over him.Last edited by Axl Rose; 11-29-2011, 04:26 AM.Comment

Could you talk any more ****?but is it just about the resume ?...
who did Bob Foster beat ? that doesn't stop him from being ranked very highly
Ali struggled in many of his fights and arguably lost more than his record suggests
the consistence and the way you win your fights should count more than it does in my opinionComment
