Don't even give him that man. Saying that JMM is a better counterpuncher than Mayweather is not even an opinion at this point, it's a flatout falsehood. Mayweather can counter more accurately and efficiently, plus he can do so without taking as much in return as Marquez does. Again, this isn't an opinion it's a fact.

it's floyd's defense that reduces his opponents output more than his counterpunching. counterpunching is an offense coming from a defensive stance so if throwing counter combinations like jmm does is not better then i don't know what is.

You don't see the connection because you're rooting for Pacquiao and you don't want to see the connection or draw the obvious conclusions. Yes, Mayweather will be a totally different matchup for Pacquiao than Marquez was. Mayweather is bigger(in every way), faster, stronger, younger, a better counterpuncher, a more accurate puncher overall, who's more technically sound with much better defense.

This exactly. It will be a different match up as in one sided in favor of Mayweather. It will be a lot tougher than all 3 Marquez fights put together.

Yeah i agree one thing floyd does not do is counter in combination. Hell be harder to hit and hell throw a variety of pot shot counters but hes not going to exchange with pac like jmm does.

are you really that slow? jmm doesn't just throw more punches in his combos...he throws effective punches. there's a big difference there if you know what i mean.

It's almost exactly the same, Floyd being the best counterpuncher ever, way better than Marquez. Floyd will annihilate Pac period.

Difference is, Floyd is a 1 and done counterpuncher. JMM is a 2-3-4 punch combo counter puncher.
