The totality of the Klitschko success cannot simply be blamed on size and reach. If that were so then he same could be said about Lennox, who was almost always the larger man in his contests. We know this not to be the case and I admit that Lennox had many more name opponents on his resume but there is something to be said for how the Klitschko's rule this division. I can't think of anyone on Lennox's resume that would pose any threat to Vitali at the time Lennox bested them. That's honestly my opinion. I can admit when my favorite fighters can't hang. Hell, Ricky Hatton is in my top 5 and he was all blood, guts and heart. That's all I can say. I'm not so sure I'm going to be able to convince you. There's something holding you back. Whether you admit to it or not.

the fight was controversial, lewis should have rematched him. losing a fight on a cut when you are clearly beating someone is not conclusive either way. there should have been a rematch - and there wasn't. who is better is left up to speculation, it was not determined in the ring.

not really, heavyweight boxing was dead after Ali's era. After that there was just Larry Holmes who was just beating everyone up a bunch of no-bodys. When Bowe, Lewis, Tyson and Holyfield emerged heavyweight boxing did light up again. Tyson was the first to screw up, Bowe was next. By this time HW boxing was dyiing, all that was left was an over the hill Holyfield and Lennox Lewis dominating everybody. BTW Chris Byrd, a guy fighting in the light-heavyweight division made Vitali quit. Frazier was a natural heavyweight who won a Olympic gold medal in the superheavy class, what makes you think its 'highly likely' that Vitali would KO him?

Size an reach disadvantage against Vitali, that's what many haters would call a "total mismatch" as an argument against Vitali (Frazier is the same size as Mormeck).

I'm not sure if he would have KO'd him though.
