Because Briggs hadn't been relevant in the division for several years and had barely been active during that time.Vitalis a fresh 40 years old while Briggs is an old and shopworn 40 year old man.

McCall and Rahman would be top 3 wins for Vitali and you know it.
No, I don't think so. Adamek's resume craps all over anything they ever did. Solis was an undefeated gold medalist. Arreola was an undefeated beast at the time. Peter was ranked as the #2 heavyweight in the world and was the WBC champ. He was never the same after Vitali took his soul. Rahman did NOTHING but KO Lewis and barely survive to knock out a very tired Corrie Sanders. Neither have strong resume's without knocking out Lewis and you know that. Lewis was knocked out by a couple bum journeymen and Vitali has never been off his feet as a pro.

Live with it. He ran from Vitali and was sparked by two bums that Vitali would have toyed with a knocked out.

Not relevant? He was a world titlist a few fights before and was coming off 3 1st rd knockout wins in 2010. If Vitali was fresh, so too was Briggs who had a 2 + year vacation himself after losing his title in 2007. You can say whatever you want about the fight but I think Briggs saying Vitali hit harder than Foreman and was a better fighter than Lewis says it all. I'll take his assessment of the situation before taking yours.
