Personally I cannot see a guy feasting on has-beens and on the receiving end of a KO from not one but TWO clubfighters belonging in the top 5. You obviously do and it's all fine and dandy.

You can see that... huh? How come you can't see that when deciphering Klitschko's resume? I'll tell you why... it's because he brings it for every fight... he doesn't rely on cuts to save his a$$$ & give him asterisked W'S... HE DOESN'T RELY on a fighter who put him to sleep to show up on crack for the sequel so he can get sweet revenge & have everyone say he beat everyone he ever faced when that is far from the case. If Klitschko hasn't "officially" beaten everyone he's ever faced then Lewis "unofficially" hasn't beaten everyone he's ever faced... tell that to the haters before you come onto this thread like a semi-vigilante....thx!

Also, LL got sparked out twice. I would rather take Vitali's losses.
What, you'd rather quit against Chris Byrd than avenge both your losses?

Klits, short for Klitschko's. Good attempt kid, but try again. And of course you have other things to do because you can't find a single post where I've been disrespectful. Be gone now little boy and keep living in your fantasy world.

It does matter my friend because the fact is that nobody knows how the fight would have ended had Vitaly not quit. All anyone needs to see is the Tate-Weaver fight to understand this.

As I recall the fight, big klit won every single round prior to his injury. Make no mistake. Byrd was a good fighter, but he'd be no match for Vitali. It's not like a case can made for Byrd having Vitali's number at all. So I respectfully disagree.

As for Vitali quitting, well a torn rotator cuff is, I'm told, excruciatingly painfull. Of course we have seen fighters prevail despite such an injury (Danny Williams for example), so maybe Vitali just wasn't able to take the pain at that time, and of course it counts against him when the time comes to measure him with the ATG's.

Still it's my opinion, that this incident is less bad than being KO'ed twice by clubfighters with much lesser stature than Byrd.

                • He's also fought in by far the worst heavyweight era in a hundred years. So what?

I'm a Klitschko fan but I gotta agree. I don't know about a hundred years, but this era got the most out of shape HW's I have seen.

No it isn't. You have 2 fighters that would give any champ from yesteryear problems. You can say that there's a huge drop-off in talent after that, but take the era of Tyson, Holmes, Louis and pre-Louis and you'd be hard pressed to find great fighters besides the champ.
