the reason why the k bros dont get respect is that black americans now suck at heavyweight. not really their fault but it seems in the U.S. in order to fully gain ultimate respect you have to beat a great black american. the brothers might be boring to watch but they can fight and they might not beat every great black american fighter back then but in my opinion they can beat their fair share.

the brothers are a very respectable and admirable boxers. Its not their fault the U.S. started sucking at heavyweight.

Besides the Klits, heavyweight boxing the world over sucks, not just in America. The skills and shape of most heavyweights today, and that includes Americans, is pathetic. Has nothing to do with color or nationality.

The whole problem with this is that it clearly wasn't a knockout punch. He dropped him, yes. But Solis was up before ten yet unable to put weight on his knee so the fight was stopped. You wanna see a knockout? This is a knockout!

yeah when i hate, i dont like to discriminate. So many black fighters out there i hate - Mayweather, Bradley, Alexander, Dawson, Chambers, Peters and this is just of the top of my head. Holyfield i've gotta say is the boxer i hate the most, when ever i'm having an of day i just come home, go to youtube and watch his fight against Bowe when he nailed. then in return there are also white fighters out there that i really enjoyed watching like Marciano, cooney and Quarry (his slugfsets with frazier were my favourites). I acknowledge that the Klits are great fighters and competitive in any era, i dont think they would have beaten everybody but never the less be very competitive against them. For example i think Tyson, Lewis, Bowe and Holy**** would have beaten Vitali but still be very competitive unlike other here who think they would be blow outs, buts thats not to say he's not great, those fighters are some of the greatest ever (just like Vitali but in my opinion are slightly better). Vitali is a good fighter, but people get mixed with excitement and being good, vitali is good but not exciting and you cant hold that against him. he's found his game plan and it almost always gets him the W and thats all that should be to it. I know our views conflict with how good vitali is and thats natural, if everybody came on here it would be boring, it would be like having sex with the same women everynight. There will be heated debates but there is no need for racism like you said and really nasty comments. Discuss by comparing skills, stats, opposition etc and yeah keep it cleans as you say. That guy Mr invincible or whatever i think is actually ******ed, just re-read his last post. Vitali took the fight on just 10 days notice.

Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor stoppage. Lewis barely survived the 2nd round and almost got KO'd, he was badly hurt, holding on for dear life, wobbling everywhere and staggering around the ring like a drunk. Lewis was badly hurt several times in the fight and was getting outboxed, outworked, outmuscled and outlanded by Vitali.

After the fight, Vitali intimidated the shit out of Lewis and made him look like a bitch.

All the fans at Staples Center cheered for Vitali and booed Lewis after the fight.

Lewis promised Vitali a rematch.

Vitali destroyed Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds and called out Lewis again in the post fight interview. The scared Lewis retired shortly after that fight.

Lewis turned down 40 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew he would get destroyed by Vitali.

Thats right, the old man retired after stopping the young buck. He made plenty of money and went out on top unlike most champions. He owed nobody nothing. Vitaly had his chance and came up short. He's moved on, maybe you should too. You know what I like about Vitaly, and something his nuthuggers could learn from? He never made excuses for losing that fight. He never whined "but I was up on the score cards". Unlike many of his fans he has shown class.
