  • I hope another fight with Pacquiao doesn't happen. As far as Marquez goes, I believe he can still score a good money fight if he fought Amir Khan perhaps.

    • Avoid Khan..too tall and too quick...

...Rios is tailormade for JMM, and also Bradley. khan will trim JMM little by little..

we all know pacquiao is a crowd pleaser fighter thats why i understand him being disappointed of the result. He didnt knock JMM out as expected and the crowd booing is more than he can take. BUT he definitely won the fight, not as we expected but he did win a close fight.

rounds 1 -3 is hard to score so they gave it to pacquiao. 4 and 5 goes to marquez and the crowd started to get wild. A casual fan will think its 5 - 0 lead in favor of marquez but the truth is its more 3-2 in either ways. round 6 pacquiao, then marquez again in rounds 7 and 8. Coming 9th round emoitional fans scores it 7-1 in favor of marquez. but the real score was 4-4. round 9 was pacquiao, 10 goes to jmm. entering round 11 the score should be 5-5 then pacquiao gets 11 and 12 to secure a 7-5 rounds win.

That may be the case, I was just speaking in terms of $$. Amir Khan is a bigger draw than the two fighters you mentioned, that's why I think if Marquez wants a good money fight (that isn't Pacman) Khan would be the way to go imo.

Pac fans, go to the 1:00 minute mark of the following video and listen to what Pacquiao's friend Amir is saying.

Now go to this video of HBO's "Face Off" between Pac and JMM. Go to the 6:26 mark and listen to what Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach has to say:

They're stepping on each other's feet because both fighters are trying to dominate the combat zone. For those asking why this didn't happen more often in their first two fights, it should be obvious from the Face Off video that both fighters are clearly aware of the importance of this position and are fighting for it. Pacquiao is a bit more technical now, remember?

Another thing that should be noted; it was a clean fight with both fighters touching gloves after punches strayed and accidental head clashes. On some of these occasions, Pacquiao would point things out to the ref by motioning, such as pointing to his waist when he thought punches might be low or to his head after the accidental clash of heads. He never pointed toward his feet.

Now read the following tweets by Freddie Roach:

              FreddieRoach Freddie Roach
sure part of game plan but its ok RT @iam_ninoy: saw vid clip JMM stepped on Pacquiao foot 6 times Is it legal, cheating or unsportsmanlike?

              FreddieRoach Freddie Roach
No very common when southpaws face right handers RT @LuckyLindy21: Marquez was consistently stepping on Mannys foot could that cause cramps?

Pacfans, stop with this "foot stepping" BS already. You're embarrassing yourselves.

              1. Pacfans don't know a goddamn thing about boxing.....

              2. The very fact that they are rolling out this pathetic and pi*s weak argument out all over the internet is realy just a true indication of who actually won the fight.

                    • Yes, in term of money....

..but, JMM is legend now..people will watch him,,against Rios at lightweight and Bradley another welterweight bout...I can see JMM beating those guys..those guys likes to me in...and I don't think their chin is as strong as Pac's.
