So....they fight 4 times, big deal. They're both going to make another pile of money. Ted "Kid" Lewis and Jack Britton fought for the welterweight title a total of 20 times. TWENTY. And Britton was in the US and Lewis was in England. And there was no air travel in those days.

There are many instances of multiple fights between keen rivals, any amount.

Don't you realise that he totally neutralised Pacquiao's style. It was'nt a war because Pacquiao did'nt want to push it. When does Pacquiao not throw punches for the first 3 rounds? Even with those bogus compubox stats Pacquiao still did'nt throw like he usually does. I can't stand trying to explain this to someone that only watches Pacquiao fights. If you followed boxing at all you would know that Marquez is not a come foreward brawler. Pacquiao was dominated plain and simple.

From a Marquez standpoint, this is starting to get the feel of Hearns/Leonard II. Hearns received a draw and within weeks after the decision, Leonard stated that he felt Tommy won their second fight. All of Tommy's demons were lifted and he and Ray actually developed a mutual friendship doing charity events together etc. I just get this same vibe that even if JMM never fought Pac again, that 3rd fight is his "Hearns rematch" moment/exorcism. And if that's the case, I wish this dude the best of luck when going back down to 135 or just calling it a day. Besides Sanchez and JCC Sr., I got JMM as the 3rd best Mexican P4P that ever entered this sport, and Boxing is better for having this pugilist grace its halls. What a great fighter despite getting short changed in at least two of these Pac fights.

exactly,he always gives good insight when he's giving his opinion on other fights and he speaks correctly,lol...nothing compared to jorge arces vocabulary right?.lol...and barrera has a way of using words that you can tell these guys are educated people, not from the "hood" so to speak, not that anything wrong, but i'm just saying his use of words and the way he expresses himself is so different from others like arce, chavez, etc

Be as it may, he better not get too ****y with all those demands... right now Uncle Bob is probably salivating over the possible earnings a 4th fight would bring, but if there´s any signal from the Mayweather camp that a fight could be made, Manny & co. might just as well say "check the scorecards, you lost, so f... you"...

I respect JMM, a true warrior, this guy got robbed, I know your supposed to beat the champion decisively but cmon he didn't lose by that crazy point spread. I think JMM won by a point at least...If not a draw.. A 4rth fight is gna be a war, JMM knows not to engage with pacroid, he uses his counter attack to create an offense so precise that it has Pacroid all shook up... If Pacroid and Arum thought Manny won than why a fourth fight, obviously because they know he lost !
