Besides, Jr. already has a plan for May, another Mexican fighter and most probably Morales or Canelo, that's if he beats Cintron, So I doubt will see Pac/Jr aroung spring time. Ellerbe is just making a noise about wanting to get Pac for the May scheduled fight. Why May? it's Cinco De Mayo. I doubt Jr actually bought that last Manny/Juan fight. He knows..he's the master showman himself! there you go boys..that's how it will play out...it just makes sense that way. So nobody's ducking nobody...it's just business but eventually these two guys will fight... If I am a promoter, that's what I would do.
Man, Floyd himself, Rafael, Schaefer, De La Hoya, and Ellerbe already squashed the Morales' rumor over a week ago, so stop with that please.

I could see Alvarez as an outside shot, if Pac and Arum really don't negotiate a Floyd fight. Also, apparently Pac has June 9, 2012 ready, at least according to Dan Rafael. I could also see the Martinez' thing happening, especially since Lou and Sergio have been VERY quiet the past month or so, just like Ortiz shot his mouth off and than was very quiet for a month or so, and than all of a sudden that was announced.

    • I can't blame him for choosing either option. On the one hand, he want's to win oficially and leave no doubt in anybody's mind. On the other, he really has nothing left to prove to anybody. He's going in the hall of fame as one the greatest of his generation who defied almost everyone's expectations of him to arguable beat one of his fellow greats.

      • Pac v Marquez 4? Whats the point? I wouldn't pay to that ****. The last fight wasn't even exciting. Neither Marquez nor Pac conneted with any meaningful or telling blows and the fight was boring. In prefight interviews both guys were quoted on serveral occasions saying each will go for the knock-out but in the actual fight neither were engaging enough to do any such thing. These 2 fighting each other has run its course. And then you have this crook Bob Arum paying off judges and causing controversy in the hopes of making more money in a rematch and its astonishing how fans can't see the game thats being played on them.

The only fight i'm willing to pay for that involves Pac is Pacquiao/Mayweather.
Team Mayweather wants to make the fight for mid 2012 and team Pac wants to continue to bull**** the public.

        • I hope he includes in his terms that catchweights are not allowed. Legit weight for a legit title. That would return a bit of cred back to this sport. Maybe not by much but it's a start.

Idiot, it's not like he turned away from the fight. Pacquiao was holding back alot...

            • marquez should retire...he will not win against pacquiao even if they will fight ten times, pacquiao will repeat over him if that was his style...those who say marquez won should watch the replay and be fair in judging...

pacquiao landed more blows, blocked marquez shots and was the aggressor all night long...no doubt, pacquiao was the winner...

marquez did not do enough to be the winner...

                • What is the NSC all about?

By demanding a Mexican venue, Marquez has already admitted that he can only defeat Pacquiao through a hometown decision. Aside from securing a hometown decision, Juan wants to be paid double.

I think it’s about time that American officials put their foot down hard on Juan’s head. There’s no way Pacquiao could cheat the score cards by himself. The American judges did it. Therefore if they have any reputation to uphold they should not remain silent while a Mexican berates their ability to judge and their ability to remain neutral. I think the NSC should make a clear stand on this or it would become the laughing stock of the boxing world.

No, I think it is time for the sport to grow beyond Las Vegas and their cheating ways.

                      God you talk ****.....

1.) Mayweather has already stated he wants to fight Pac on May 5th

2.) Pac has already stated he does not want to fight Floyd on May 5th

And yet, you have come to the opposite conclusion, in BOTH cases?

People see what they want to see, and hear what they want to hear, which is why we still have *******s arguing that Manny won the fight.
