Therefore if they have any reputation to uphold they should not remain silent while a Mexican berates their ability to judge and their ability to remain neutral. I think the NSC should make a clear stand on this or it would become the laughing stock of the boxing world.
You fkn idiot, he has likely copped 3 bad decisions. What a ****.

This is what´s up kids: if at this point the Pacquiao and Mayweather parties fail to make the fight that this era of boxing needs, the Golden Boy and Top Rank people don´t deserve to be called promoters, and neither Pacquiao nor Mayweather deserve to be called fighters anymore, let alone All Time Greats.

The buildup to the Marquez fight was to take it as a buildup in and of itself to the fight that this era of boxing needs to determine its place among all the great eras in boxing history.

And guess what: Manny won. No, he didn´t look stellar, no, he didn´t walk through his opponent, yes, he may have had an off night, but he WON. So now the path is cleared for the fight that - if there´s still something right with boxing - is Mayweather´s and Pacquiao´s destiny.

We as fans have become so accustomed to being cheated out of this fight again and again ( spare me the "drug testing" blame game right now, I am WAY beyond caring !!! ) that we are even starting to speculate, constructing scenarios of who Pacquiao or Mayweather could fight next, how it would play out, bla bla bla bla, when the only answer is:

The time to make Pacquiao vs Mayweather is NOW. Not in a year, not after some bogus 4th fight that would mean spitting in the face of the judges also, it´s NOW.

So make it happen, or please, for ****´s sake, call it off officially, even if it means disgracing this era of boxing and branding it the era of "what if..." in the history books.

Humberto Soto has been challenging Marquez since 2007, but JMM is scared to fight Soto.

JMM wants to retire to avoid fighting Soto, cause there has been media presure in Mexico, that they both fight, and lots of Mexican media know that JMM is ducking Soto.

JMM has not been ducking anyone. Why would he duck Zorita? Zorita is a good lightweight, but he brings no money to the table like bigger names do. I would love to see them fight, but if JMM is making only 5Mil compared to Pacs 20-25 mil, why would he fight Zorita Soto for less? The bottom line is that its a business and it kind of sucks sometimes. I see his frustration and his terms are definitely reasonable. I think they should fight in Texas for the 4th if it happens.
I can agree with his decision to retire though. He had a great career, not all in his favor, but his induction to the Hall of Fame is inevitable.
