Well he seemed to be a force before the Calzaghe loss. He was never the same after that loss though. Calzaghe was to much for lacy and ruined him. Calzaghe was to much for anybody though. He was a superb boxer, even though i never liked him.

Take a few seconds and ask yourselves this. Did Lacy look as unstoppable as Gennady? Yes or no? Yes.

Did Bute look as unstoppable as Gennady? Yes or no ? Yes

Did Bute have a better resume then Gennady prior to the Froch fight? Yes.

Were both Lacy and Bute hailed as the next big thing and 'super legit'? Yes.

What happened to Lacy and Bute the VERY FIRST TIME they went up in class? They got ****ing murdered. Let's give guys like GGG and Broner some time before hyping them up.

Don't hype up Gennady like people did with Bute and Lacy only to see someone like a Martinez KO him in 2 Rounds.

Lol. Bute was over hyped, but he is still a good fighter compare to Lacy.

Lacy was one of the biggest lies ever. I still believe Lucian can come back. He was over hyped but he was MUCH more proven then Lacy and he still have the far stronger resume compare to Gennady Golevkin.

If Bute beats Froch in the rematch, he is right back up there among the very elite.
