At first glance, I figured a match between he and Mikkel Kessler was compelling......but not after I saw what he did to pemberton tonight.

I realize Pemberton might not be in the same leauge as Kessler.....but simply being a tall rangy super middleweight will not cut it against Lacy.

If they fought, I think it would be one sided.

I initially said Lacy would pound out a decision win over Kessler....but now I think he will simply knock him out in the early rounds.

Along with Calzaghe.

Joe stands virtually no chance against this monster.

In fact, I think everyone short of Cruiserweight would lose.

Top ten material RunWithKnives with wins over who? Scott Pemberton? Robin Reid? Omar Shieka? Syd Vanderpool. This guy isn't top ten material YET but he definetly has potential to be a top 10 guy.

This would be probably my 10th time saying this, but he is ****ing insane. He's like a machine, he just seeks and destroys you. One of the most entertaining fighters in the sport hands down.

I want to see him fight Kessler. Kessler brings much more to the table then Pemberton does IMO. I picked Kessler to beat Lacy via UD, but this fight has changed everything. Lacy's an animal. I only see a slick counter-puncher beating Lacy, and even at that I think Lacy could probably knock him out whoever that may be.

Having said all that, I still think Calzaghe of a couple years ago would of beaten Lacy.

anybody who discredits lacy is a total boxing novice. what else do you want the guy to do? as a champ you take care of the guys in front of you. he is killing guys. he isn't the next big thing he is the biggest thing in boxing!!!!!!!!!!! name your man, Jeff Lacy will kayo yim.!!!!1

calzaghe of a couple years ago...look at who joe was fighting acouple years ago, man looking good against second tier fighters!

imo lacy woops calzaghes ass two years ago and definitly now.

kesslers the only one after calzaghe and its hard for me to rate these guys because of all the second rate euros they fight.. i mean would you want to see a marcus beyer/lacy fight? no.but things can change in a year. a taylor/lacy or hopkins after he looses/lacy...whoa.

He is good, but still green, Have yet to see how he deals with a true boxer, he has the power and a pretty good chin from what I have seen so far but can he cut off the ring? Can he take a true hard punch? I have yet to see that in him.
