At first glance, I figured a match between he and Mikkel Kessler was compelling......but not after I saw what he did to pemberton tonight.

I realize Pemberton might not be in the same leauge as Kessler.....but simply being a tall rangy super middleweight will not cut it against Lacy.

If they fought, I think it would be one sided.

I initially said Lacy would pound out a decision win over Kessler....but now I think he will simply knock him out in the early rounds.

Along with Calzaghe.

Joe stands virtually no chance against this monster.

In fact, I think everyone short of Cruiserweight would lose.

Tarver, Johnson, Hopkins, Taylor,

anybody who discredits lacy is a total boxing novice. what else do you want the guy to do? as a champ you take care of the guys in front of you. he is killing guys. he isn't the next big thing he is the biggest thing in boxing!!!!!!!!!!! name your man, Jeff Lacy will kayo yim.!!!!1

imo lacy woops calzaghes ass two years ago and definitly now.

kesslers the only one after calzaghe and its hard for me to rate these guys because of all the second rate euros they fight.. i mean would you want to see a marcus beyer/lacy fight? no.but things can change in a year. a taylor/lacy or hopkins after he looses/lacy...whoa.

None of the above. He isn't green. He certainly isn't over-rated now, the Calzaghe and (particularly) Taylor fights have shown where his level is and it is below 'serious force', certainly compared with all the guys in the SMW tourney. He doesn't suck, he has a good record only losing to two of the best fighters in recent years. And I like the guy, he is a warrior, has tremendous heart and was dignified in defeat. I wish him well, but it won't be at the top of the SMW division.

he should have lost to tyspko, mendoza(thought he was playing football and tackled him to save his ass), otis griffin, and had a razor close fight with manfredo. not to mention before he fought calzaghe he had a razor close fight with omar sheika.

All of Lacy's recent wins have been razor-thing decisions, majority or otherwise. He's done.

He was the new Mike Tyson. The fight against Scott Pemberton (where anyone with EYES could see how slow, inaccurate and wide open he was) proved this.
