lol at dumb fans saying arum and pac don't want this fight because of fear of losing. bwahahahahahah........ that's the biggest **** i ever heard in my entire life. why would you fear a reluctant fighter? arum is probably the first person who would love to see overrated floyd get ktfo by pac and be rewarded with tons of money that he will never get in his entire career.

what a bunch of fanatical clowns. they never wonder why the best fighter in the world is so scared of even negotiating for the fight..

of course, as leonard ellerbe kindly pointed out, the only this would be possible is through a large split in mayweathers favor.

Bob Arum? I seriously stop reading there.

Blah blah blah. Bob had ODH, floyd and now has manny. He made ODH/ pac quick but won't make floyd/manny. If he thought manny could beat floyd's ass bob would've had him take short money in exchange for long term profitability increase down the road. Just like he did with ODH.

Pacfan you can think manny is the best but Bob Arum KNOWS which of the 3 is the best. He had no problem making #2 v #3.

I never understood that idiotic logic either. At most, the fight would still be a competitive 50/50. If you're a real fan and regard each one the best, win or lose you'd still want to see them fight. Pac had 3 loses, Floyd has none. Who do you think is supposed to have the bigger fear of losing? And why would Arum or Schaefer lose anything for promoting a megafight? Win or lose both fighters will continue to be followed by millions of fans. They will still get the usual PPV numbers after the fight.

You'll never know what ******, fanatical fans will come up with just to ****ride and blame everyone but their hero. They should at least be consistent and follow the rules of logic.

            ;-)

I'm still going to remain optimistic. At least it seems like both sides are moving in the right direction at the same time. Some progress is better than no progress for the biggest fight since 85..

Yes. I think even though ODH was the favorite Bob knew he could negotiate certain clauses to maximise manny's chances. He also knew with freddy he could pinpoint ODH's weaknesses.

I was surprised by how thouroughly manny dominated ODH.

Roach knew ODH wouldn't be able to pull the trigger in that fight, why wouldn't Arum?

Of course it is. Because you don't think critically or analytically just mannyssacilly. Bob's in house ww tourney isn't as profitable if manny loses to floyd. MAnny doesn't generate as much money if he loses.

Bob has notoriously held of matches to maximise profitability for decades. He did it with leonard/hearns and leonard/hagler. He just ****ed up trying it with lopez/gamboa.
