I really don't see the "spin" you speak of in his post. He articulated his point very well and it was pretty much on point. You don't believe he is on steroids, then fine. But there are many people who've watched boxing for a long time and it's hard for them to phathom, in the oldest sport no less, what we are witnessing with Pac in 2011. Is he a great talent? Of course. But he's no different than the other great talents this sport has ever seen. SRR, SRL, Roy, Toney, Floyd, Pernell, etc all are comparable athletically to Pac. When they moved up, had more fights, and got older, their output didn't INCREASE. Tell me what guy in his mid 30's, on the plus side of 50 fights (that would include the wear and tear of 50 plus training camps), with a "take one to land two style", and moved up 3 weight classes in the matter of a couple of years goes into fights with an increased punch output than he had at the lower weights? I saw in their second fight JMM land a lazy looping punch that had Pac on ***** street, but now his punch resistance is unbelievable? I witness this guy floor JMM, Morales, etc and they all looked like flash knockdowns, but now he hits a guy like Cotto and completely disconnects him from his senses? Coupled with everything the poster you crapped on stated about the million different reasons his camp balked at additional testing, I think there is ample reasons to be su****ious. Nothing more, nothing less. Every major sport from NBA, MLB, with the NFL currently at congress trying to implement HGH testing, is trying their best to eliminate the "su****ion" of PED usage from their sports image and it's players accomplishments. I'm actually really taken back at how many of Pac fans hide behind the "Floyd doesn't dictate the rules" mantra regarding testing, but applaud Pac dictating the rules at an uprecedented level when he didn't allow the 147 lb champion to defend his title at a weight he won it. The bias toward Floyd is so transparent and it exposes those who aren't real fans of the sport. Which is sad.

Pacquiao's camp has been Saying Floyd is afraid & refusing to fight Pacquiao so now that Floyd has named the time & place, why are the criticizing instead of celebrating the good news that Floyd has changed his mind & in fact willing to fight?Comment

this is all about Arum Ego vs Mayweather Ego
Pacquiao don't even get the chance to speak for himself...HIS TEAM SPEAKS FOR HIM!
*** what Koncz and Arum wants (or thinks)...WHAT DOES MANNY WANT??? WHAT DOES MANNY THINK???
this is just further proof that the real hold up is BOB ARUM, he want things HIS WAY and then Mayweather want things his way...but the media since they already hate Mayweather they will just put the blame on him regardlessComment

He took the fight because he had nothing to lose. You the one who started talking about make believe negotiations clauses.Comment

I think it's excellent timing by team Mayweather. By making this announcement now, you get out in front of the whatever performance Manny has against Marquez. No matter how Manny performs against Marquez, the plans seems to be in motion. This removes the opportunity for anyone to say Floyd is using the Marquez fight as a barometer, of when to fight Manny. If Manny looks great and blows Juan Manuel out, the plan is in motion. If Manny struggles against Marquez, then he makes this announcement, there room for different type of speculation.Comment
