Pac said he was hurt by a body shot from Margarito. Thats coming from his mouth, personally I think Tito has way more power then Margarito and I don't see anyway Paq would be able to withstand a shot from a Tito left hook. Just my .02
Boxing fan ask Breadman "Would Pac beat Hearns, Leonard, Duran & Trinidad?"

His best shot is against Trinidad who although is bigger, isn't faster then Pac when it comes to speed of hand or foot. Duran would be the most fun to watch though. Hearns is just a horrible style matchup for Pac and Leonard had the boxing skills and otherworldly speed to give Pac trouble.Comment

Roberto Duran was pretty good at 135. If Pacquiao thought Erik Morales was a good boxer-puncher at 130, I don't think he could withstand the educated heat Duran would bring. DeJesus was an excellent fighter although I don't believe he could would hear the final bell if he fought Pacquiao. He gave Duran hell in their first bout and was a lifelong very, very good lightweight. Pacquiao's only bout at 135 was against Diaz, a fighter who, with all due respect, can't hold DeJesus' jockstrap or Duran's socks. Duran would sharp-shoot Manny and land the cleaner blows in close quarters en route to winning a clear decision or even inducing a late round TKO.He beats Duran at LW, Estaban Dejesus was not half the fighter Pacquiao is and he Kd and whooped Duran in their first fight.
Hearns outbox Pac to a close UD
Leonard UDs/ or maybe late TKO Pac
Trinindad gets Kd early like always, gets mad and proceeds to KTFO Pac within 6 rounds.
Pac would fair better with guys like Aaron Pryor and Alexis Arguello
I also think you underestimate a prime Trinidad at 147. Shane Mosley's jab gave Manny problems. Not many but some. That jab was world's away from the one Tito threw with vicious intentions. And Tito understood distance well, whether throwing the jab or his power punches. He'd also utilize his ridiculous size against the smaller Pacquiao. Not sure Manny Pacquiao would be able to bounce in and out against Tito without eating some heavy blows. Bad matchup and would result in a mid-round TKO IMO.Comment

I wonder how people see that but don't see Tito is a bad matchup for him as well. His best shot is against Trinidad who although is bigger, isn't faster then Pac when it comes to speed of hand or foot. All these posts defending Tito is making me feel like a nuthugger. But not for nothing, hell yeah he'd get up and I'm not sure he'd go down. Trinidad's chin was excellent, on par with Mosley, who would probably get stopped a beast Bernard Hopkins as well. Hell, Vernon Forrest had Mosley down and badly hurt and I'd venture to say Tito fought welters with as much or more power than Forrest without ever being in that predicament.Comment

Of course they don't. Hearns was a much better boxer than Tito. Other than that, the same attributes Hearns possesses that would give Manny hell are the same ones Tito had. It's not like Tito would box Pacquiao so what does that matter anyway? Tito was long and powerful, threw a solid jab and was mean, man. Mean. No one was able to outbox him. No one. And few dared outbrawl him. The only person who was able to outbox him was a peak Oscar and even he couldn't do it for 12 rounds, switching to running instead. Manny wouldn't do that but I don't think he lasts that long anyway. Not at 147. Pound for pound maybe.Comment

He's not an ATG in general but he's certainly an ATG Lightweight and considered amongst the Top 20 or 25 Lightweight's of all time.
His resume isn't exactly stacked but he had a solid Title reign and beat solid, top ranked opposition at Lightweight such as;
Ray Lampkin x2
Edwin Viruet
Buzzsaw Yamabe
Hector Julio Medina
And of course argubally the greatest Lightweight of all time Roberto Duran.
Amongst others but I forget who else.
I would have loved to have seen DeJesus and Ken Buchanan fight. That would have been unbelievable and if Duran wasn't there to reign supreme they would have been the elite Lightweights of their era and most likely had an amazing triliogy.Comment

He'd get stopped by Hearns and SRL, Duran fight would be a competitive loss and I think he would actually outpoint Tito for as long as he can stay on his feet, which would probably 7 or 8 rounds.Comment
