And few dared outbrawl him. The only person who was able to outbox him was a peak Oscar and even he couldn't do it for 12 rounds, switching to running instead. Manny wouldn't do that but I don't think he lasts that long anyway. Not at 147. Pound for pound maybe.
I'm with you man. The only possible thing I can see being an issue with Tito is, can he keep up? Pacquiao's gonna fight a million miles a minute. If Tito can't keep up with that, he could in fact lose. Otherwise I don't see Tito losing. He isn't a chinny weight problematic Cotto. Nor a zombie like Margarito, whom I like. He isn't afraid to fight, unlike Clottey and he sure in the hell won't be shot and old like Mosely. lol TS said nothing about catchweights. So he'd see a fully functional in-form Tito Trinidad.

All I can think of is if Tito could keep up with the work rate and pace of Pacquiao. That's pretty much it.

I think Tito would invite Manny going a million miles per minute. Tito had strong stamina and will. He'd get his shots in. Especially as Manny was coming in. You couldn't fight like that against Tito for 12 rounds.

i doubt it, i can't see him landing big when he's getting caught big
how do you see him avoiding pac's straight left when whitaker's and cortes bothered him so much?

ahh, i can't fathom this, although i guess he can land one punch to end it all

you(flicker) mention a chinny weight drained cotto but he isn't as squared as felix and cotto really, is not chinny, he took bombs from mosley(many of the calibur that hurt floyd) and bombs from mayorga(albiet past it)

So much that he knocked out Cortes early and beat Whitaker 11 to one? I don't know. I don't know how Pacquiao would survive Tito's left if Marquez could catch Pacquiao midair with one in round two.

Under 147 for some reason, he could not absorb damage well. I don't know why. Since it's damage to the facial/chin area. I call it chinny.

I can't really recall the Mosely-Cotto fight punch for punch. But I don't recall Cotto getting hit with big shots. Cotto for the most part was boxing circles around Mosely. Jabbing his face off. Broke his nose too. Mayorga fight. Didn't watch. So I can't comment on that one and that is above 147 right?

cortes is a bum and whitaker was past it, my point was that if a bum and a slower whitaker could land basically at will with their lefts, why wouldn't manny? trinidad probabley wouldnt have survived vs cortes if not at the end of the round, also joppy was a puncher right?(i really dont know, i dont recall anyone of note with a solid chin that he ko'd, could just be hype from ko'ing bums, i haven't followed his career)

but joppy was on ***** street that whole fight, and really didn't land anything, same way i see it with trinidad vs pacquiao, so what are the punches from the punchers that felix took?

well yea, tito could land his sunday punch, i just dont see it, pacquiao would land more

I can't believe so many people think Pacquiao could beat Trinidad.

There's just no way he goes 12 without Tito's ridiculous size and power advantage getting to him. Pacquiao would have to run, which he simply doesn't do.
