Everyone knows the 1st few rounds Floyd is just warming up and adapting to the fighter. We all know that after round 4 it would have been a complete shut out if not a KO/TKO/Ortiz quitting in the later rounds. Ortiz couldn't even make it out of the 4th round without cheating because he was completely dominated.
People that hate Floyd, completely ignore the truth and lie to justify to themselves that Floyd was not winning or would have won. Its very disturbing. The ****ing ****** your replying to is one of them. Him and the other ****ing ****** check hooks... two very deluded ****ing ******s.

It's possible because his gameplan was getting to Floyd when he wasn't standing still and directly in front of Mayweather.
We will never know because Victor is a ****ing idiot and tried to do some Fight Night *****. Then did every intimate body language possible to Floyd besides suck his **** and got knocked out for it. Idiot ****er. Guess he really is a tree.

oh for Pete's sake! I guess soon we'll be hearing that Mayweather sucker punched Ortiz because he was getting beaten up and was desperate -- for the trillionth time -- Ortiz was going NOWHERE in that fight, except to the canvas a round or 2 later -- anyone who couldn't see that is too biased to talk to.... why do people think that Ortiz was laughing his ass off in his corner after it was over? -- he knew that the 'controversial' ending saved him from getting furhter clobbered and put down....

Ortiz won the 1st, 2nd and would've won the 4th before the point deduction. Floyd threw so many elbows, Cortez is something else. Ortiz hit Floyd with 8 unanswered shots in the 4th and a headbutt lol when outweighing him 15lbs. BEST DEFENSE MY ASS.

I don't give points for holding, leaning his head over the top rope and throwing elbows. I actually take away points for that.
And Ortiz has stated multiple times that none of those pitty pat punches hurt him. He said floyd punches feel like slaps from his gf whereas Ortiz had floyd backpeddling and blocking for dear life.
Man I am sorry but I gotta laugh at that post. Lets examine this by rounds okay???
Round 1: Both were tentative and not throw a whole lot or landing a whole lot. Mayweather definitely landed the more telling punches, with those stright right hands. Mayweather landed 9 punches to Ortiz 5. What did Ortiz do to win the round??? NOTHING. Mayweather landed the more telling punches and controlled the pace. 10-9 Mayweather.
Round 2: Ortiz had his moments. He got Floyd on the ropes three times, and landed a total (again I say a total for the entire round) of 8 punches in the round. Mayweather still landed the stright rights and quick hooks,a nd managed to land 13 power shots in the round. If you're bias against Mayweather, you score it 10-9 Ortiz. If You're bias for Mayweather, score it 10-9 Mayweather. I scored it 10-10. 20-19 Mayweather.
Round 3: Mayweather dominated this round, CLEARLY, and you could see the vast difference between Ortiz and Mayweatehr this round. 10-9 Mayweather. 30-28 Mayweather.
Round 4: Ortiz did NOTHING the first 2 minutes of the round, while Mayweather hit him with right hands, left hooks, and even a couple combos int he opening of the round, and the last combo actually got to Ortiz, as you could see he was attemting to hold on with Mayweather int he opening of the round, before missing with a hook of his own. The last 50 seconds of the round, he got Floyd on the ropes twice, and landed 4-5 punches. At this point before the headbutt, Mayweather had landed 22 punches to Ortiz 9, and than Ortiz headbutted him. If the round had ended without a KO, it would have been a 10-8 for Mayweather with the headbutt. 40-36 Mayweather.
Mayweather landed 73 punches to Ortiz 26, and he landed 44% of his power shots and 35% of his total punches, and was the busier fighter, and threw more then usual. Ortiz had landed 18% of his total punch count. Ortiz won 3 of 4 rounds???? YOU'RE DELUSIONAL AND A STRAIGHT UP MAYWEATHER HATER. It's okay man, just admit it. I'd have more respect for you.
Also, Mayweather was actually walking Ortiz (bigger than Floyd, a southpaw, weighed 164 lbs on fight night) down the majority of the fight. Had you watched the fight without your bias, you would have seen that.
Floyd threw more, landed more, landed at a way higher percentage, and was never evenc lose to being as hurt as he was in Round 2 against Mosley.
Floyd won 3 rounds, with the 2nd round ebing fairly even. Oh, and Floyd is a notoriously slow starter.

Victor won at least ONE round. Even if you don't think he won 3 rounds. He at the very least won ONE round. Or did you not see Floyd's head get knocked back multiple times?
Really, that's not even the point though. The fact is. Victor's game plan was getting to Floyd. He found a home for that left hook. Hell, he revealed the weakness to Floyd's shoulder roll and it has nothing to do with the jab. Victor simply wasn't fast enough, nor mentally capable of exploiting it.
If Pacquiao uses that game plan and exploits what Victor revealed in Floyd's defense. I don't think Floyd would win.
You probably didn't even see it. It's there and I saw it. Pacquiao has the speed and power to exploit it. Add that he doesn't stand completely still and right in the face of opponents like dumbass Ortiz did. It's even worse for Floyd.
Floyd would be in for hell if he tried to fight like that against Pacquiao. He'd have to hit and run to beat Pacquiao because standing his ground and countering Pacquiao is gonna fail. That is, if Pacquiao and Roach seen the weakness and exploit it.
