I agree with most of the posters here. I actually went back and counted the punches landed by each fighter and Floyd outlanded Victor in EVERY round! Yes Victor had his moments but they would be preceded and followed by Mayweather landing 5 or more punches on on him. Ortiz was not going to get a decision at that pace, no way!

Floyd was tagging & at times hurting Ortiz with straight right's & left hooks & already in the 4th Ortiz was starting to swell up..After dirty ass Ortiz pulled the Zidane move & lunged his head into Mayweather's mouth he got WHAT HE DESERVED!!! & if Ortiz wouldn't had ***ed up the way he did & the fight would have continued normally, Ortiz would have either B I T C H E D out like he did against Maidana or would have gotten KO in the later rounds!!

man, i never said victor would've won ...but since i think vic was landing pretty good shots on floyd, vic would've busted him up, like in the corley fight, i hope you know floyd got a bloody nose in that fight as early as round 3 , right?...and i think we can agree that vic was the strongest biggest southpaw floyd has ever fought....we are all obviuosly speculating here, there's nothing to exgaerrate really....

Ortiz was not landing good shots for the most part, which is exactly the reason he went and headbutted. He knew the fight was going bad for him. And no way was Ortiz going to naturally last in later rounds anyway, after hydrating 14+ lbs. When Roger Mayweather was saying between rounds that Ortiz was going to really get his ass tapped down the stretch -- there was a reason behind that.

lol...i scored round 2 for ortiz and round 4 was a toss up before the cheap ko so i dont really get that" it was a shut out fight for floyd BS".... what it proved in that fight to me is that floyd gets hit a lot easier vs southpaws and that ortiz is an idiot....

Ortiz was getting outclassed. You think the first four rounds were bad? Just imagine what Mayweather would do after these round. Mayweather usually starts to dominate in the 2nd half of the fight.

agree 100%... if ppl thought the first half was close but floyd was winning the second half would have been a blow out...

I can't believe he or anyone else is still talking about this..Ortiz was being outclassed,and was knock into next week because he head was not in the fight..How anyone gave him more then 1 rd or thinks he was on his way to winning is beyond me..Ortiz has solidified himself as a mental weakling in my book...

whats up Rome! agree 100% vic was getting frustrated as he was getting tagged with those counter rights. to say floyds best rounds are the first 4 or 5 is crazy for garcia to say. floyd makes adjustments then shifts into another gear and he is gone. after the fight told the whole story. vic was just happy to get those millions(can you blame him) and happy he didnt have to take a sustained beating. this was on the way to being floyd v gatti(rip)
