i'd favor gamboa as well. donaire's never fought at 126 so no one can really say how good donaire will perform. he does walk around at 140 but that's different. it'd be a hard fight nonetheless, for either guy.

Gamboa is too big and strong for Nonito. He would impose his will and once he gets that swagger going, he'd close the curtains on Donaire.

Donaire should test the waters 1st at FW maybe against the JuanMa/Salido winner.

Nonito's killer punch is indeed the left hook. However, that is not the only weapon in his arsenal.
He has excellent lateral movements. Nonito's punches are blinding fast. Footwork is one the best in the industry right now. Furthermore, the way he sets up that left hook is a beauty to behold. That setting up of his punches is his 2nd best weapon... he is very ring smart.
If he can develop a repertoire of punches, he will be unbeatable in the ring. IMO

Who knows until Nonito moves up? He may carry even more power and strength without the weight cut. I don't think Gamboa would 'kill' him at all. It would be a very competitive fight against a world class opponent.

As right now I'll have to favor Gamboa, I have seen Nonito struggled with a smallest and less powerful fighter than Gamboa (Concepcion), beside he's always being the bigger guy in the ring and that will not b the case once he moves up, and I might add he will not b the faster either.

Both have speed and skills. But size and power goes to Gamboa. Maybe a middle or late round KO win for Gamboa. Donaire can beat Gamboa but will be a tough fight and have to keep moving around.
