    45-0
    9 time champion
5 time lineal champion in 4 divisions
Honestly, I hardly think it matters who Floyd beats in the end, he isn't going to win over fans or be appreciated. Look at how his haters meticulously pour over his fights with accusations or critiques that all but negate his wins. Nothing he does is good enough and for every win there's a bizarre theory or reason why he did it apart from the obvious. What does that tell me? It tells me that Mayweather could beat all the fighters you just named and it wouldn't mean a hill of dung.

Floyd is a truly brilliant fighter but he will never be loved, understood, or truly appreciated in his lifetime.

But resume wise, it will be a lot better if he fights at MW IMO. He gets his sixth division plus another lineal title.

I'd have him top 10 OFF ALL TIME FOREVER ALWAYS YARR!!!!!

And I really doubt anyone can come up with a legitimate reason why not.

yet being undefeated didn't enhance his legacy all that much...
I know when you beat an opponent matters more then the name value of the opponent.

but what I'm saying is I'd rather Floyd lose a bout or two if he had fought and defeated Cotto and Margarito when they were in their primes .... that would've enhanced his legacy more than a 0.

He has protected that 0 and IMO it has hurt him more with his legacy than it has benefited him.
Ofcourse when casual fans see the 0 they think it's a big deal and they're the ones that are paying him
other fighters lose-and are called shot, exposed or overated..yet floyd has to lose to be great.this is amazing

IMO, Floyd is a brilliant fighter. He has the skills to be become ATG. But unfortunately, he wasnt able to take his career seriously after his win against ODLH. So when everything's said and done, his resume is still far from Pacquiao.

                    Mosley wasn't lineal
Tony wasn't before that, Cotto wasn't before that
lineage at 147 retired with Floyd
Floyd became the best WW again when he beat Mosley
he didn't become lineal again though

I never said that at all. I was saying he could've been greater.

Duran had 16 loses some even by early KO's yet I think we all know he's greater than Floyd......
