    6) Vitali Klitschko has the best boxing numbers = Universally NOT regarded as The Best Ever

Can you spot the discrepancy here?
LOL Pele isn't regarded as universally the best footballer ever, there's the ongoing Pele vs Maradona debate. Most ppl i say would pick Maradona because although Pele numbers are amazing, they are against sub-par opposition, same problem with Vitali Kiltschko.

As a matter of fact the thread creator probably doesn't know that only one of those guys holds any real records anymore.

and since 2 of the 4 "greatest ever" have the same skin color as klits, how the f can that be the cause?
You lost your credibility at MJ doesn't hold any major records... That's ******** absurd & disrespectful to the greatest athlete there ever was. If I LISTED all his records you'd come back & whimper like the troll that you.. He HAS all the career scoring marks on LOCK... PLAYOFFS & REGULAR SEASON.. he is by far the greatest point producer in Nba history & WILT doesn't even come close.. WILT GOT HIS 30 in nearly 46 minutes a game Mj DID it in 8 less minutes a game & playoffs you can FORGET about it... THERE'S NOT ONE nba player that even averaged 30 PTS A GAME in the playoffs except for MJ who averaged 33.5 EVERY SINGLE PLAYOFF GAME.. wILT averaged 22 pts.

Babe Ruth HOLDS nearly all slugging stats & was in possession of all of them until steroids made it's MARK...... MCGUIRE that is.

Babe Ruth held neither of the major home run records when they were broken. Roger Maris held the single season home run record, and Hank Aaron held the career home run record.

Jordan is not the regular season career scoring record holder, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is. Kar Malone is second, and Jordan is third.

And it has nothing to do with racism because Rocky Marciano is in most people's Top 5 ATG heavyweight list.

Also, Floyd has the best punchstats numbers in the history of punchstats.
YOU LOST your credibility right at the end.. Where's Floyd's KO"S.. oh i forgot he gets them at intermission... my bad. Floyd has LOST more RDS THAN KLitschko.. Vitali has never LOST MORE THAN 2 rds in a single fight.. NAME any FIGHTER in boxing history that can boast that and mean it.. Floyd has foght about the same amount of fights & has NEARLY 2 handfuls of fights where he gave more than 2 rds.. so please come back with something more substantial & fighting the best..

means it's IMPOSSIBLE to fight the best from a time that you weren't fighting ... fighting & destroying the best that your current era offers is what every great fighter does & can only do.. he fought an alltime great & was the first one to clearly outbox him... cuts stopped the ensuing & inevitable beatdown.. so saying he lost to an alltime great without providing full disclosure of that loss & the facts that led up to that loss is erroneous at best... Vitali dominates his opponents more than anyone else does.

Compare his dominance over similar competition past greats faced & that's YOUR real barometer.. not some make believe fantasy about who he failed to fight because he didn't have the opportunity to fight them... penalizing him for that is boxing's greatest & most erroneous sin... go on what he's done.. STOP going on what he hasn't done or he hasn't beat the shet out of.. he's MORE than PROVEN.. everybody no matter who you are gets the same beatdown... that's all i gauge his ranking.. all that other stuff is meant to downgrade his unprecedented performances & you guys all know it

Jordan was the best play off performer in basketball history. his regular season was spectacular too with 5 NBA MVP's, 10 scoring titles and highest career scoring average in both regular season and play offs..hands down the GOAT..

See.. you're looking at stamina & forgetting the highest caliber of quality... If Mj PLAYED as many minutes as Kareem/Karl his point production would be in the THOUSANDS more than them & Mj that playoff SCORING mark with many less games than those 2 played just to show how much more prolific he was.
Babe Ruth got his homerune in thousands upon thousands less opportunities than Hank Aaron & he got his single season mark as well at a higher rate than Maris.. When you talk about "numbers" Quantity is NOT always better than quality & your 2 points prove this. It's MJ & rUTH that will likely get me the homerun or point before the others will.. unfortunately Big Mark CHEATED & HAS a higher career probability of getting a homerun than Ruth.

                      jimmy1569 you embarrass yourself.
No way Vitaly is the best fighter ever, he is not even the best heavyweight of all time.
