Is quitting on his stool after 9 rounds whilst being well ahead one of them?

        "He hasn't won a world cup" - He's 24

So what? Ryan Giggs never played in one but that's not a basis to say he's not a great player. Times have changed and club football >> international football.

Everyone knows Sugar Ray Robinson is the GOAT of boxing. Vitali, a great modern day champ, doesn't even come close to that.

I mean, who are the best fighters Vitali beat? Samuel Peter? Chris Arreola? Tomasz Adamek? Corrie Sanders? Come on bro
YoU DID EXACTLY as suspected... pre****table to say the least... This is about the numbers.. it's about the SIZE... it's about the strength.. Vitali breaks that Tie WITH VAlero by knocking him the f out in his sleep. Sugar LOST ABOUT 100 rds in his career.. what was his comp like.. that he lost so many rds? & how many went the distance with him.. probably more than the 45 fights Vitali has fought.. his numbers are whack compared to Vitali's so nice try.. all those fighters you mentioned are championship level fighters & if Vitali didn't land AREOLA the lead part in the Crying GAME.. he woulddda had a title by now. kapish!

Messi for Argentina to help them reach the quarter finales of the Copa America. Can't remember when it was but Messi was incredible. I believe it was the 3-0 win over Costa Rica.

Messi have performed to such a high level for Barca that when he plays for Argentina he's expected to do it all. He's set the standards that high.

But for the "excuse" that he needs Xavi & Iniesta? I believe last season those two contributed just 7 of his 53 goals (55 games). He also managed 24 assists. So much for the he "needs" Xavi & Iniesta.

And winning the world cup wasnt the only thing I mentioned.

He can only do it against whatever opposition he has in front of him.

Ok how about 2008 Olympics? Or each group game of the 2010 World Cup where Messi was quality. Or even the 2011 Copa America where he picked up like 3 MOM awards before they lost in the quarter finals?

Anything else that I have to put together to back up my argument that he will be the greatest player, if he isn't already, to ever do it.

You can't handicap the guy because he's playing for the greatest team ever (potentially).

Then Messi should have no problem performing at international level if it is so inferior.
