We have gotten glimpses and really if he is just playing a chracter then he shouldn't complain about the negatives that are associated with his antics. Also, it's just wrong to resort to racism acting or not (this isn't a movie).

Floyd may be the best boxer of this era. He is one of the best, but it would be nice if he fought guys like Pacquiao or Martinez, so we'd know who was best for sure.

I can respect Floyd skills in the ring. But if he has that persona on tv with talking down to his father and cussing at elders. It meets a very fine line with his true person. All the things he gets in to out side of boxing like buring money, getting arrested, ranting racist remarks etc.. So out side the ring I do not respect him or like him.

I don't think he's proven he's the greatest boxer of this era. . . He COULD be, when all is said and done. . . He's definitely one of 'em as of now

Im not anti-american, but im not going to support somebody simply because they were born in the same country as me. . . not in something as simple as sporting events (even if it is boxing, the greatest sport!). . .

If you want to base support of mayweather around that line of reasoning, I could give you a plethora of reasons NOT to support him. . .

Your first paragraph leads me to believe you think you are talking to Floyd himself. I do not give a damn about the character he plays, although I am smart enough to know that most of it is a character. In regards to who is the best, I already know who the best is and I or apparently Floyd cannot make a certain someone take a test. Don't get me started on Arum and Manny negotiation bull****. Now, I would love for Floyd to fight Sergio at 154lbs. I believe that would be a true test for him.

In my opinion he has proven his worth as the greatest of this era more than anyone else. But, I would love to hear your reasons for not supporting America's best fighter. Since you love boxing and are apparently American. If any of your reasons are personality/character based, please include your one on one experiences with Floyd. Just a little source information. I cannot wait to hear this.

You got some that just love his technical skills/talent which is fine, but some of these fans make the DUMBEST excuses FOR ALL HIS ACTIONS OUT THE RING.

Don't know the guy but his persona is getting old and redundant. He tries to be the loudmouth eogmaniac but comes off as insecure and sometimes paranoid. As far as *****-talking, it's third rate compared to guys like Prince and Ali. Its hard to believe his "Money" persona when his financial problems are so well-documented. Also his "I don't give a **** about what other people think about me" attitude is ridiculous when its so obvious that he does care what people think about him. He's overly sensative to the point where it becomes almost funny. He creates this totally hateable character then cries about why people hate him. Its sad to see such a talented athlete have to resort to such gimmicks just in order to get attention.
