It can be sometimes I guess, depending on the situation, a lot of times they are accurate and give you a good idea, sometimes they can be misleading, it's how it is.

Didn't Manny landed 13% of his jabs against a moving Shane Mosley as well? Had the Floyd-Ortiz fight continued, Floyd's accuracy would've went up in the later rounds.

Yeah that makes sense if you trying to be agressive and land power shots your not gonna worry about your jab for two reasons it aint a power punch and why hit you with my jab if I can hit you with my lead right-_-

If he only landing 14% against Ortiz, he will be lucky to land 10% against Pacquiao.

. And you based this off of a four rounds fight. *******s are really delusional.

Just stating facts, 14% is pretty poor, just wanted to hear people's reasoning behind it.

Some people made some good points, but unfortunately you were not one of them.

Tottaly agree, aggressive fighters will use the jab less for scoring punches.

Also the fighting a boxer with the opposite stance will make the jab less effective.

Slow ass Margarito was able to connected 19% of his jabs against Manny, but the most accurate Boxer(Floyd) would be lucky enough to connect 10% of his jabs on Manny? SMH.

14% is very poor, especially against a guy like Ortiz.
A right handed jab is a poor punch to use against left handed fighters. People also use a jab just for timing and to get closer to a fighter doesn't have to land. Too great punches against a southpaw is a right uppercut, right hand, and left hook. Vic has a high hand stance so a jab hits his right glove.

Lampley at this exact time in the fight: "Another left hand lead lands for Ortiz!"
