can't give pac credit for beating them and weren't the fights at catch weight?

the real pac retired after the second jmm fight..the pac after is a cheater who uses catch weights and shells to make himself look good.
      Cotto's catchweight is fine

although fought at 150, Marg is a career 147 fighter

Arum insisted the catchweight to give Pac his "8th" division belt

Shane Mosley came up from 135lbs. to beat a prime DLH at WW, and that is WAY more impressive than anything that Manny has done since moving up from 135lbs. It's easy to look good when you have Manny's ability and you cherry pick fighters at the right time. Now you tell me, what makes Pacquiao's WW run so impressive? Spare me the size argument, that is laughable. What about the quality of his opponents?

DLH - seriously dude was on IV's and hadn't fought at WW in about 10 years, and was busted up by freaking Steve Forbes in his previous fight. DLH was shot and retired right after the fight.

Cotto - a good win for Manny but nothing more. Cotto was annihilated by Margarito and hasn't been the same since. After the Marg fight Cotto beat a bum for a vacant belt in Jennings and had a very close fight with Clottey, wow so what?

Clottey - this is a solid win but Clottey has never beaten anybody of consequence and he was coming off a loss to Cotto. Furthermore, the fight was boring as hell and Josh didn't even put up a fight.

          Mosley-

JMM is next. So somebody please explain to me how Manny's WW run is so impressive?
Regarding the Clottey fight: "the fight was boring as hell and Josh didn't even put up a good fight"

Let's see, so Manny blows Clottey out of the water and it's no good. If Clottey were to knock Manny around a bit more, we'd hear 'look at how he got knocked around by Clottey'---like Mayweather, when a superstar gets high enough on the pinnacle, then they can't win no matter what they do.

Go back and look at the Ring rankings for ww in Jan 2009- Margarito, Cotto, Mosley, and Clottey were all ranked ahead of Pacquiao, who was at number 5. He beats all those dudes in about two years, the 140 lineal champ at his natural weight, as well- and still, it ain't good enough.

Look, Manny can't go and dig up Duran, Hearns, and SRL to give him a challenge. All he can do is beat every big name out there. Why is that an issue?

If Pacquiao fights Marquez, *****s say lol. If he doesn't fight Marquez, *****s say 'see, he don't want none of that'.

For some people, every glass is half full. The day isn't sunny enough. This could be better, that could be better, blah, blah, blah. Fact is, Pacquiao has been carrying this sport for awhile now and will be sorely missed when he's gone.

So what you guys are saying is that it's ok to cherry pick as long as your small? LMAO. I have yet to see a remotely valid argument that explains how DLH, Clottey, and Mosley are such good wins. Manny was a flyweight lol. Give me a break, seriously? Dude has been fighting at WW and above for approaching 3 years yet people act like he just moved up from LW. SMH the guy outweighed DLH on fight night.

FYI Pac came up from 112 all the way to 147

held titles at 7 division including 4 lineals

you saying Shane came up from 135 to beat DLH at 147, yes its impressive but it's not unlikely, Shane would've moved up DLH or no DLH becuase 135 is a weak division that time

it's impressive enough coming all the way down from 112 to reach as high as 147, winning belts against the best or good or bad opponents

yes its impressive. with that said, that says nothing about his opponents and the wins over them. they arent good. clottey is ok. the other two, not even that.

Well if that's the case then I don't know any WW who has more than 1 good win at WW in the last 10 years.

Lol, where do I begin? What the hell does where Clottey was ranked in 2009 have to do with when Pacquiao fought him in 2010? Was Clottey a title holder, was Clottey coming off a big win, who has Clottey ever beat? Your even trying to defend the Mosley fight? Damn brah, Pac cherry picked Mosley after he was dominated by Floyd and drawed with freaking Sergio Mora, that was a disgraceful fight. The same people who use WW rankings to justify Manny's cherry picks call Berto a bum even though he was a top 5 WW. Here are some guys Pacquiao should have fought at 147, Bradley, Berto, Ortiz, etc. Berto would've been a much better fight for Pac than Mosley. Manny has been fighting nothing but past prime fighters coming off bad performances. I'm not impressed, it's posters like you that make me dislike Manny even more. You even brought up Margarito, smh. Manny is bsing period.
