like the loser was old, shot, drained, on iv, etc., etc...

no longer taking into account that the loser was the favorite, or still highly rated...

Isnt after the fight when the facts of everything are revealed Im mean how does one say oh Oscar will weigh 145 and need an IV drip to walk to the ring , you still ignore them saying oh it was Oscars fault but we will claim the win anyway , Oscar was a dead man it was a bull**** win , name on a resume only .

Cotto was coming of a cheat beating that retires fighters and mentally fucs them up , then they fed him a complete stiff to spear him into Pac for Arums double dipping , and then they CW him after Roach states Cotto is damaged goods after Margo and ready for the taking ,, all ignored by the Pac fans

Cotto was a decent win but the catchweight takes a lot out of that win specially since Pacquiao fought at the full 147 limit before and after the Cotto fight, Clottey was always a choke artiest but that was a decent fight.

one thing Manny never did was fight the #1 guy in the division when Mosley and Floyd were available

Lets look at who Manny has fought at WW:

DLH - seriously dude was on IV's and hadn't fought at WW in about 10 years, and was busted up by freaking Steve Forbes in his previous fight. DLH was shot and retired right after the fight.

Cotto - a good win for Manny but nothing more. Cotto was annihilated by Margarito and hasn't been the same since. After the Marg fight Cotto beat a bum for a vacant belt in Jennings and had a very close fight with Clottey, wow so what?

Clottey - this is a solid win but Clottey has never beaten anybody of consequence and he was coming off a loss to Cotto. Furthermore, the fight was boring as hell and Josh didn't even put up a fight.

Mosley-

JMM is next. So somebody please explain to me how Manny's WW run is so impressive?

And THAT is what uncle Bob is afraid Floyd will expose. Uncle Bob knows Floyd will make HIM and Top Rank look terrible when it's all said and done.

That's Floyd sole mission and Arum is avoiding it at all costs.

the size argument is just justifying Manny recent opponent selections that is it, when Margarito was KTFO against Mosley and looked less then impressive against Garcia the selling point of the fight was "Marg is Big Manny is small" even tho the fight was at a catchweight. same thing you hear against JMM "they both are LW and will be the same weight on fight night" even tho the fight will be at WW.



IMO if you are small then fight in a smaller weight class against the top competitions instead of using your size as an excuse to fight a lesser opponents handicaped at a catchweight
