I'm going to go with the Mosley fight, you seen him grow up right before ya eyes in that..Not to mention he took some big bombs and it was a very good boxing match..I'll go with Mosley with the runner up being his fight with Judah...

      Just a reminder,

You know what stands out the most, Cotto's right hand, here he actually uses it. I know he had shoulder surgery but just imagine how effective he would have been had he still had this kind of a right hand.

Well yeah because it was Alfonso Gomez

              Mosley...definitely!

That Mosley had come off a dominant win against collazo and was still near the peak of his powers imo. Cotto outboxed him, he had the better angles and landed the more penetrating shots. It was a supreme display of power boxing, and showed some good movement in the last few rounds to protect his lead...just.

It was the Mosley fight and it's not debatable. He looked fast and just so sharp. He was countering with such precise punches and showing such affective aggressiveness. He was going in and out of southpaw seamlessly.

Two of my favorite posters picked the Quintana fight....that fight, the further away it took place, has been remembered entirely wrong.

People act like Cotto just went in there and destroyed Quintana....that was a VERY competitive fight until that body shot. I would go as far as to say that Quintana was winning the fight going into that 5th round. You guys need to watch that fight again...Quintana hurt Cotto with a body shot too.

Just concurring what most people have already said, The quintana fight was his best performance for me too, Quintana was highly thought of at the time, He even outbox cotto in round 1 and 2 if i remember correctly but around the 3rd or 4th round Cotto found his range and to be honest i felt for quintana, those bodyshots were a killers, i felt really really sorry seeing him in that much pain, His corner were trying to make him go out for another round but you could see he couldnt..

The Mosley fight in my book. Mosley wasn't shot & while they traded big power early, Cotto outboxed him in the 2nd half of the fight. But I think Mosley took something from Cotto in that fight though. Because he never was the relentless pressure fighter he was after that.
