I don't think there is a "greatest of all time." The eras are too different and it's unfair to expect that someone like Marciano could really compete with men the size and strength of Lewis and the K-Bros.

I always said I didn't think Ali would be able to beat Lennox for that reason.

Ali was probably the greatest of his era.

For the current era of the super-heavyweights I would say probably Lennox, followed by Vitali. I would have liked to have seen a rematch as their first one was inconclusive IMO.

I didnt make this thread because im a klitschko nuthugger but because I really believe I Wlad would beat Ali.

I'm not getting ****** into a Clay/Klitschko debate, because to even think about that comparison is going to get one labelled a neo-**** and who knows what else very quickly.

The whole subject of Clay/Ali is mine field for anyone looking to do anything but add to the existing narrative. The only way to criticize him and not get pilloried is through the eyes of someone like Joe Frazier, which HBO did fairly recently in a very good special.

Clay's overall mythology certainly owes a lot to the white *******ism of the 1960s.

The white libs loved it when Clay/Ali treated them with contempt. It justified a lot of the ideas they wanted to promote. Just watch an old episode of "All In The Family" and listen to the ideology of "Meathead" to see what I'm talking about.

These are the same limo libs who liked black people as long they didn't have to actually live near any or associate with any. Very patronising.

As for whites who hate the K-Bros, some of them seem to have a very romanticized view of the black athlete, and it seems the Klitschkos mess with that and it upsets them. An old 1960s guy like Bert Sugar exhibits a hatred of the K-Bros that has to stem from something more than just their boxing.
Merely disliking them is one thing, but hating them is another.
