I thought Whitaker won as well. And, Whitaker made him look silly at times. Especially in round at then end and I think round 6 or 7....And, that was a badly faded Whitaker against a prime Oscar.

And, even an old JCC in the rematch, at 147 mind you, gave a prime Oscar a tougher than expected fight.

I think people are just jealous of his success. In actuality he was an excellent fighter in his prime with a very good resume.

Oscar gave an old JCC a rematch at 147 but never gave one to a faded Whitaker or Quarter after arguably losing those fights.

Oscar wasn't interested in giving Tito a rematch above 147 until Tito got beat. You would think if he felt he out right won the fight he would of gotten the rematch at all cost. Hell he didn't move to 154 until Tito made the move to 160. That's how shook he was. And, he left 147 because Mosley was there.

Oscar for years said he wouldn't give Vargas the payday. When Vargas was looking like "El Feroz" ferocious Oscar said he wouldn't give him the satisfaction of a payday. But, then Vargas gets his chin cracked by Tito looks like eh against Shibata Flores and Rivera. And, then Oscar finally decides to give him the satisfaction of the payday....I wonder why?

Oscar wasn't interested in a Mosley rematch. Until Mosley lost twice to Forrest and look like blah in 3 rounds or so against Marquez at 154.

I don't know if he was "godlike" at 135. But, that was his best weight-class he had the a great combination of size, height, length, speed, power. And, his resume wasn't bad there either. Destroyed Ruelas and Leija in 2. But, I was impressed with the Ruelas win.
