The prime minister can talk BS like all politicians, but I think his words are indicative of the view held by many. I don't claim to believe what the prime minister says is always the truth, but it would not be in his interests to make a controversial statement like this if he didn't believe it.

No one is saying that hurts British culture, but its a pathetic example of how PC Britain has come, which is PART of what's resulted in what's happening right now with the EDL, BNP, look at the prime ministers quotes for crying out loud. Of course it would be in his interest to say this man. I remember WHEN he said this, and he said it to gain votes, since it reflected the views of some people. That is not to say, he doesn't also believe it, but he purely said it for votes, it was a cold calculated move to gain votes.
