Thread seems to have moved on a little from the original topic...so thought I would drop this in here which was said by THE UK PRIME MINISTER in Feb 2011, so only 6 months ago

"Under state multi-cul turalism, we've encouraged different cultures to live separate lives, apart from one other and the mainstream.
"We have failed to provide a vision of society to which they feel they want to belong."
He added: "When a white person holds objectionable views - racism, for example - we rightly condemn them.
"But when equally unacceptable views come from someone who isn't white, we've been too cautious, frankly even fearful, to stand up to them."

And I **** you not, a writer left the Sun, and admitted his boss was encouraging him to make stories up, amongst them he said they were making stories up about Amir Khan, trying to defame him.

Racism and anti multiculturalism tends to flare up when the economy goes downhill. But on a whole, Britain should be commended for trying to be inclusive, or at least that used to be the case.
