Some people seem to think Mayweather is the most accurate puncher but the truth of the matter is that Pacquiao is more accurate than Mayweather.
Pacquiao throw more punches and is a combination puncher, both these things redcue accuracy. On top of this Pacquiao is a harder puncher and throws harder puncher, another thing that will effect accuracy.
We also have to forget about the jab as the jab is use to open a defence and find range, so it can be used effectively even though it is not landing.
Pacquiao also lands his punches right on the button, **** on the chin, Mayweather punches are more scoring punches.
Pacquiao landed an astonishing 50% of his power punches against Mosley while Mayweather landed an impresiive 46%, still 4 % less than Pacquiao. And Mosley was in defensive mode when facing Pacquiao and Pacquiao was throwing more punches than Mayweather.

A near-riot in the closing seconds of the 10th round only delayed the inevitable: A dominant Floyd Mayweather Jr. victory.
So what is there 6 fight average?
Pacquiao 52%
Mayweather 50.2%
There you have it the stats back up my theory and add to this Pacquiao throws more, hits harder and throws more combinations and higher punch combinations, you would have to agree Pacquiao is the more accurate puncher.

I think they should only count boxers who take random blood tests before fights so that fighters that don't, do not go into the hall of fame.
Could you imagine. lolComment

No they don't why should the fighter that uses the jab as an offensive tool be punished because others use it differently? Fighters feint with power punches too, use them to hit arms, the guard to open up chances just like the jab.Comment

Hmmm what is Floyd planning now that Maritnez and Pacquiao are knocking at the door.Comment

Its no seem to think Floyd is way more accurate puncher; you fail mention Manny landed only at 31% rate overall and 17% of his jabs. And Floyd landed at 44% rate. Floyd has biggest Punch stat disparity in boxing history from his accuracy and punches landed against him so try again.Comment
