i had to stop reading this thread when it was mentioned that allen green is better than anyone bute has fought. would that include the edison miranda that bute ko'd early? i'm pretty sure that's the same edison miranda that allen green lost

Honestly that wasn't the same miranda, that was the 160lb miranda, his power at that weight was crazy and he was extremely fast. Once he moved to smw and lhw, his power was gone as well as his speed. I know, I'm one of the biggest miranda fans on this board

I just want Bute to fight a real opponent at 168 and not someone coming off a KO loss or is over the hill. He's had enough time to get ready for the center stage. The time is now....

I wouldn't mind seeing him fight Dirrel, Kessler or a cloud at light heavy...

I dont' think he deserves the right to challenge the winner of the SS, only for him to possibly land a lucky punch and walah, he gets all this credit for being this great champ.

Bute needs to bring something to the table before he jumps straight to a high class championship fight.....

Anthony Dirrel is the number 1 contender for the WBC so i doubt he'd fight Bute

Did you see the Bika vs Mendy fight that took place right before Mendy fought Bute; or did you just look at boxrec?

Bika destroyed Mendy in the first round. Mendy was done either way, but was bailed out because Bika hit him while he was on a knee or something like that. If you saw the fight, you would know this.

A catchweight is a catchweight when it benefits both fighters, not just one. Cloud's catchweight offer was almost as bad as Pac's to Marquez.
