People forget this, but Green was coming off a loss when he fought Johnson as well.

This is just another example of once a fighter loses, he was never that good to begin with.

Agree that is used way too often but in this case IMO Green was never good when you struggle against FNF level comp. continuely and almost get KTFO by that type of fighter. My memory harkens to Litzau

Overall point is Ward has 2 really excellent wins Kessler-Froch
1 very good win Bika everyhting else is filler
My biggest gripe is he HASN'T fought anyone with hand-foot speed of any kind and even Showtome made mention he had the easiest route to the finals. If he fights the other Dirrell bro then Bute his schedule could be considered a rough with having faced different styles and challenges.

The problem with Taylor inclusion was there were talks that IF AA KOd him he would prob bow out so why would you really take the chance with this as a likely scenario.
They wanted another American with a name not the best fighters just 3 Americans.

Agreed, this tournament was really just a showcase for 3 American fighters vs 3 Euro fighters, and NOT having the 6 best fighters (regardless of nationality) fighting one another.
