I guess Wlad should defend against ATG's like Randall "Tex" Cobb.

At least Cobb was rated in "The Rings" top 10 and had actually fought some opponents with big fight experience. Great defense? No. Better than Chisora? Absolutely!

Thank you for continuing to prove my point!

Cobb was so bad that Howard Cosell quit commentating during the bout with Holmes and there was only silence as the fight continued.

Cobb was nothing but a punching bag who wouldn't last 5 rounds with Chisora or Tyson Fury.

Take off your rose-colored glasses when looking at the past sometime -- it is never as great as nostalgia-soaked boxing types think it was.

I never claimed Cobb was great, only more proven and experienced against seasoned fighters. He was ALSO TOP 10 RATED!!!

Try telling me again what makes Chisora worthy because everything you have said about him is conjecture, while everything I have pointed out is fact.

Bogus, bogus, bogus. That would be a terrible defense. He shouldn't be giving undeserving, unproven guys title shots simply because the British public are morons. Dimitrenko, Arreola, or Helenius are all way more deserving and accomplished. Beating Sexton or Williams doesn't even warrent a European title shot.

I have a feeling that Stewart is pushing for this for some reason.

Considering how few fights he has had Helenius has fought some very good and experienced comp. I didn't realize how deep his resume was for being so small and wouldn't be against a fight against Wlad if he thought he was ready. I don't think he's ready, but at least he has earned a shot by beating some decent fighters.

I'm glad you think you are owning someone, anyway.

I'm not a big Chisora fan, and think Fury will knock him out.

But Cobb was a glorified punch bag and saying that Chisora would knock him out isn't saying that Chisora is a world beater.

Holmes, Ali, Tyson, they all fought LOADS of bums. This idea that gets spread that all of the past champs fought superstars every time out while the Klitschkos just fight bums is a joke.

Saying Chisora would beat Cobb at all (or vice versa) is a guess and nothing more. It still doesn't change the facts I presented.

And I've NEVER said the Klits fight "just bums". But if you can't see it's a god awful era when the heavyweight champion is contemplating fighting another inexperienced heavyweight who is not and has not beaten a ranked fighter, han I can't help you..

Truth is I rank Wlad at about 16th all time and his career isn't finished. Truth is Vitaly has been my favorite heavyweight since the Lewis fight. If you were also, you would understand I am being objective. Don't confuse me with a blind hater just because I don't gargle with the K bros nuts.

Yeah same with Pulev. He only has 12 fights but has wins over Oloukun, Skelton, Batcherfield, Orlov, Guinn, Vidoz, Rossy. If he's going to fight someone with 16 or less fights at least those two have earned it and proven themselves in addition to their vast amateur experience.

Who said you are a "blind hater?"

My point is not really about the Klitschkos. Boxing fans have an element that overrates the past generally. They are never comfortable with the present: this is the reason that someone like Lennox got derided when he was fighting, but now that he has been gone for awhile, he is great.

It will be the same with the K-Bros. Boxing fans never know what they have until it is gone.

There are people I'd rather see Wlad fight other than Chisora, but if he beats Fury I don't have a big problem with the idea, as Wlad owes him a fight anyway.

Wlad intends to fight for a long time yet and will get around to all worthy challengers. Vitali said today they want to continue fighting as a duo for two more years.
