Pacquiao-Floyd would be the most lucrative fight in history, would make sense for the weight penalty to be consistent and conmesurate with the money on the line.

Plus, Floyd already proved himself to be a cheater on the scales against Marquez so a weight penalty was at least justifiable. Pac had/has no links to PEDs whatsoever outside of tales spun by Floyd and his family.

    Just sayin'
the commission determines weight penalties as well as test athletes. so its one in the same. if its ok for pac to "override" the commission with something as lubricious as a 10 mil per lbs penalty then something like OST which betters the sport and protects fighters is def something worth "overriding" the commissions control. well their arent being over-stepped at all; OST is just additional more thorough/stricter testing

OST is perfectly justifiable while 10 mil per lb simply is not. theres no way you can spin that, my friend...you just cant

At least try to be consistent
you have a thing for adding words to my post that i didnt type myself. why is that?

i said Ortiz was Margacheato, yeah, i get it now.

i dont need to break it down why bradley isnt a threat to pac or floyd. the reason why its a more legit fight than pacs last three is because bradley is young, up and coming, skillful and not shop worn or coming off losses. and eventhough hes a good technical boxer which pac has trouble with, hes not skilled enough for pac, doesnt have power and does nothing to trouble pac and floyd.

while ortiz is young, fast, big, strong, can punch, had a good chin, and moves his feet. his defense is really leaky but he has the tools and natural gifts to pull an upset on floyd or pac...kahn and bradley do not. nor do i think, once again, kahn or bradley can beat him

im being consistent. the inconsistencies lie in your mind where you keep adding things to my post that i didnt think nor type.

ost is not right just so pbf asks for it in the guise of cleaning the sports......

ost is not right as you just don't go over the head of the sports authorities..

it is not right to accuse and defame without presenting any shred of evidence...

Bradley is a legit fight. I think victor carries the weoght better but bradley would be at home vs a small ww in manny.

OST is not right you say but saying NO to it in the richest fight ever is right even though current testing used in boxing is known to be one of weakest testing regimes in Pro sport , what world you live in kid because the real one will eat you alive , to think cheating is above anyone with so much to gain is as gullible as *** .

But we made it through about 35 pages before the invasion. Im impressed, there were a few that tried to raid the thread but they were quickly dismissed.

Floyd is definitely turning things around on Pacquiao IMO, and it's pretty much only because of Pacquiao's choice of opponents. It's hard to defend Pacquiao not manning up and taking the tests going on a year and a half later now when he is fighting such terrible fights.
I agree with you about the flame thread and Pac's opponents. Since his last fight with Marquez, Pac has not fought any opponent who was on his way up in the rankings and has always failed to fight the best opponent available to him at the time. In addition to Mayweather, he could have fought Bradley, Mosley (after he KO'd Margarito), Berto when he was undefeated, Paul Williams before the loss to Martinez, Victor Ortiz (after he beat Berto) or Martinez (instead of Margarito at 154). These were the best opponents available to him and he only fought one when that one of them (Mosley) after it was obvious that Mosley was faded.

To put this in perspective, in the last three years, Pac could have chosen a stretch limousine, or a brand new Bentley, Corvette, Cadillac, Lexus, or Mercedes. Instead, he has consistently chosen a Mo-ped.
