I gave up on this fight last year. I want to see it more than any other fight, but I am convinced it will never happen. We all lose as boxing fans on this one.Comment

Err have you not seen Ortiz's frame? If you know anything about boxing you'd know draining yourself to make weight impacts your performances and the ability to take punches severely... Roach has been telling Ortiz for years to move up to 147 ever since he started sparring Pac when he was preparing for the Diaz fight.1. But his 1 fight with an unproven Berto means he's a great welter? 140 was wrong for him because there's actual decent talent at that weight class.
2. Bradley is a very good technical boxer. He does everything well, even if he's not great at one particular aspect of the game but he can do it all- slipping, countering, head movement (even if it's at his opponent's face
), good footwork, speed, stamina, heart. Only thing you can say he is lacking is real concussive KO power.
3. Did you not see Ortiz-Maidana?
4. See #3 and Ortiz-Peterson.
5. Maybe, but you didn't explain to me how Ortiz has shown he's better than either Bradley or Khan.
6. I disagree wholeheartedly but I expect all the major players at 140 to be welters in the next year or so, maybe your little theory will be tested soon.
Take it easy champ

you are right...
pac vs pbf and pac vs other fine boxers/fighters will be good for boxing...
regardless of who wins...a very good fight always have the fans and boxing itself as the winners
i do hope these match-ups happenComment

It's ridiculous, man. You have guys on here who says they aren't trying to choosing sides, but when you look at some of their comments, they're doing just that. If you believe it was Floyd's fault of why the fight didn't/hasn't happened and the OST request was a ***** move, then fair enough. But why put the blame on Floyd just because Manny has only agreed halfway, compared to how mostly every other active Boxers has stated about how they would fully commit to taking it all the way if they were to?
Apparently, the request was only outrageous because Manny didn't/hasn't agreed to it fully. As you said, it's no different than what Manny's team requested about the weight penalty. They used it to made sure Floyd wouldn't do what he did against JMM, and it was a reasonable demand when you looked at it from an unbiased standpoint because Floyd could've had easily not accepted it, but he did. Either put the blames on both of them or don't pretend to not choosing sides when your posts clearly tells a different story.Comment
