are you some insider in mosley's camp? how do you know of this? what i know was some media reported quoting roach that he wanted additional testing for mosley. but roach denied it the next day saying he was only misquoted.

      2) elaborate more on these manny demands with shane because that's another piece of the puzzle that's helping floyd win this chessmatch IMO if all of that is true. this would be the second thing brought to my attention in this thread that could be added to my argument
      3) point with floyd isn't that it wasn't asked for before by anyone, its the first time FLOYD asked for it before and it was against the most legitimate opponent floyd had considered fighting in 7 years....that's one of things that legitimately makes it appear shady.
Whats goin on Bruhnlaw?!?! You know I had to get up in this thread when the author is my Ace!!!

Onward to point two. It was on here during the negotiations for Manny vs. Shane that Manny set forth the additional testing demand because of Shane's previous affiliation with BALCO. Now Shnae has never been caught cheating with the current testing standards provided by the various commissions(We should all be able to agree with the previous statement). Shan's response to the clause in the contract that called for additional testing was that he would take them. But he also wanted Manny to be subject to the same tasting just as was the case in the Floyd vs. Shane bout. Manny declined to test and withdrew the the contractual stipulation, and the fight was signed shortly there after.

I think that if we count back 7 years, we will see that Baseball and it's batting and pitching records have taken a huge hit because of a flashlight being shined on its cloaked acceptance of various PEDs and it's rampet usage through out the early 2K's and late 90's. Boxing is always last to catch up as we all know. 15 round fights have always been dangerous, but it took Boom Boom to kill a man in order for Boxing to impliment a safety measure to combat in the ring deaths by decreasing the length of championship bouts. It shouldnt look shady to us being the numerous events that have unfolded in regards to the use of PEDs, and how they've made it past the conventionl screening processes.

        • what a ****** thread.

floyd opts for ortiz instead of the "one" fans want him to fight.

are these clowns real boxing fans or what?

There's so mich to type, so im going to start with my main point.

            1) manny had an edge in the beginning because floyd looked scared by forcing ost. Regardless of what fools who cant comprehend the big picture think, this is how the move was percieved and perception is reality. It doesnt take a genius to spin that story.

            2) rumors circulate that manny agreed to floyds Demands with a cut off date, but its all heresay because they never made azhuge deal about it or publicly said (manny himself) that they would do anything to get floyd in the ring. This began to make manny look weak imo.

            3) he continues to look weak by fighting arum retreads who have no business being in ppv's with manny.

            4) floyd swoops in and fights the best ww not named floyd or manny and takes on a young gun who's hungry and badass at 147 while manny fights a
dude floyd shut out that is alreAdy probably fighting one weight class to high at lw. So he's a minimum of 2 weight classes out of his league.

All that adds up to floyd outplaying manny and bob. Bob was content to just take advantage of manny's fans and his reputation while floyd was biding his time and waiting to pull a checkmate type move.

Who the *** is manny gonna fight if he and floyd win? Khan is trained by roach so floyd has him. I guess its gonna have to be bradley who looked as out of place at ww as hatton did to me when he moved up. We know neither floyd nor manny is going to even glance in sergio's direction, so there's no one at 154.

You got a link or links? I vaguely recall Roach mentioning something about extra testing for Shane, but it seemed like idle posturing to me at the time.

i still don't fully remember the manny shane stuff...

and you are trying to prove floyd's point, yet refuse to respond to whether it looks shady or not, or that it could look shady (coupled with all the other factors invloved). I think shady is more likely that floyd actually all the sudden wanting to clean up the sport.

Uhn, Uhn. I dont remember the title of the article, but it was on here. And I DO remember Freddie mentioning that they were going to ask for it. Your memory serves you right my man. But I like all the rest of us civilized "Boxing" fans have been tired of this issue since the "1st" set of negotiations fell through, and have been following the events of this match up loosely for the past year or so. Shane also mentioned it as well if I'm not mistaken. Matter of fact the article may have been quoting Shane himself, I dont rightly recall ATM. But Shane has been classified as a "good guy" in the sport, I hardly think he would lie about such, ya know?

Uhn, Uhn Bruhnlaw. I addressed the shady aspect of your post. Look at the end of my post again. I'm not trying to prove Floyd's point. I mentioned it to point out that whats good for Floyd should very well be good for Manny, and visa versa. We cant call Floyd scared, and all kinda names, making accusations of him being scared of the fight; without doing the same for Manny. If we are trying to look at the issues at hand in an unbiased manner.
