I think the issue is, he has a title at 147 and did beat Berto. Indeed it was close, but he got the 'win'. Now I am not saying he is great, but if you look at the WW division, then in my opinion he should be the second best after Manny. Now if anyone else goes up, particularly Maidana, Khan and Bradley, I can see all three beating him, however bcause they really campaign at JWW, I won't consider them yet.

Don't get me wrong, that doesn't mean I agree with Bush's first post, which he failed to reply to my response to him may I add.

Fighting Ortiz, who has shown weaknesses, even his 'win' with Berto showed weaknesses, doesn't impress me much, but this is boxing. Ortiz will win no more than 3 rounds.

I agree as a tune up, but he lacks that world speed that you need to trouble Mayweather, who can see shots coming better than most. If you had that speed, it's harder to read, which gets you hit. Strength to me has never been a problem for Mayweather because he is strong but also doesn't often go toe to toe.

I normally don't say much here anymore.

But how dumb could boxingscene posters get???

Floyd has done some shacky things, but in no way is he the worst guy in boxing history or close to it...

You got a HAND full of cheaters that have harmed the sport of boxing more than Floyd, you got Mike Tyson, a guy CONVICTED of **** and biting his opponents ear off..

You got ALI, who was ****Y like no other, boy you guys need to learn boxing, DAMN this gets embarrassing.
Come on, this **** don't even make sense.

Ain't no reason to try to talk sense into them, I just give up, I've came to the conclusion that there well aware of Pacquiao's ducking and cherry picking, but they still support him.

In otherwords, most of these people aren't fans of the sport, there fans of his.

However Mr Mayweather, a face of boxing who also trash talks, and often disrespects his opponents, has been accused of numerous offences, mainly assault. Now it is clear that no one supports hitting a woman, threatening your own child, and getting your body guards to shoot at, or beat others.

Is his violence outside the ring giving boxing a bad name?
both floyd and manny are good for boxing.
need to have a villain & a hero.

Is floyd good for boxing? Put it like this, if you don't fight floyd you somehow become a better fighter than your record or opponents suggest. I'd say thats pretty good.
