Every time a potential fight for the ages does not happen because one fighter finds one excuse after another to run from the fight, the sport of boxing losses. Boxing thrives when exciting fights are made. It fades when it becomes boring and predictable. Everyone who cares about the sport should realize this very basic reality.

Yesir is now on ignore. Any trolls will be on ignore, troll me, then make it a long post because it will be your last.

I don't care if a troll puts me on ignore, it's not like the threads are going to be good, unless it is about a guy who talks to a Japanese girl about Manny or Floyd.

You have a point that Ortiz has not dominated 140, and only had one fight at 147, but I also do feel that he is the second best based on everyone going up, and that left Welter in a poor state! So yes, beating Berto has technically made him the second best, but that doesn't mean he is very good. I would like to think Maidana beats him in a rematch, Khan and Bradley outbox him. Even at 147. However they are at JWW.

If Ortiz-Berto had a rematch that will be a toss up fight, you just cant knocked berto out because of their first fight. Khan and Bradley are willing to go 147 as well so i think its a little premature that Ortiz should be at the top WW before he fought them.
