Does Floyd give boxing a bad name?

Wladamir had accused Haye of giving boxing a bad name for his trash talking, and some of the comments he has said are certainly distasteful, however he often says it is trash talk to sell a fight. He doesn't seem to get into trouble outside the boxing scene.

However Mr Mayweather, a face of boxing who also trash talks, and often disrespects his opponents, has been accused of numerous offences, mainly assault. Now it is clear that no one supports hitting a woman, threatening your own child, and getting your body guards to shoot at, or beat others.

Is his violence outside the ring giving boxing a bad name?

Yeah like LebBron signing with the Heat gave the NBA a bad name; if it wasn't for Folyd 90% of these clowns wouldn't have nothing to talk about.

I know alot of people who were turned off from boxing after watching 24/7 and buying ODLH/mayweather.

casual fan: "floyd said there gonna be a war and beat odlh's ass, wtf??"

Loyal boxing fan: "fckin floyd, they can both go suck a ****.."

Mayweather fan: "omg that **** was beautiful!, :: ******::"

Not only is he bad for boxing but hes a bad role model and human being. People associate him more with being a racist, arrogant wife beater than a boxer and thats terrible for the sport.
