  • Why doesn't Pacquiao drop the lawsuit, sign a contract agreeing to the testing absent of cutoffs, and kick Floyd's ass?

It's clear Pacquiao fans now love to go around in circles talking about circumstantial information relating to this lawsuit, instead of demanding your guy to cut the BS, and make the fight. If his case is contingent on what's said in a boxing chat room, a mysterious email, and a bunch of opinionated statements then I wish him good luck with that. Bottom line, all Ben Thompson was saying is the email in question could have came from any number of people in or around Pacquiao's camp, who may or may not be authorized to speak or conduct business on his behalf. He basically answered a question from a fan.

If Pacquiao cronies are that concerned about the email, then it says a lot about their faith in his creditability.

      2. It doesn't give Floyd any basis at all. I'm still waiting on you to explain how anyone other than Manny sending out emails means that what Floyd said is true. The email doesn't read "I take PEDs" or "Manny takes PEDs." It's asking questions any lawyer worth his salt would ask.
it implies pac is on PED's, hence floyd's accusation would have been justified

      i hope they show it.

        me too.

hey, noticed the arguments here from them guys?

"It's most likely true, but team Mayweather doesn't have to prove its true!"

what's the use of suing smith? he would just say it came from his source and then try to shield his source with his journalistic rights or whatever.

the source can come out on his own though if he wants with or without a defamation suit. it's one big weapon against pac if he's using peds. peds advocates like you should be salivating to that idea...not against it.

No it doesn't imply that at all. Maybe on a message board but not in court. Even further, Smith could've gotten his info from Team Pacquiao, not Team Mayweather. So how would Floyd produce something he's got nothing to do with? Just strange.

What if the source is in Pacquiao's camp? What will be your reasoning then?

Wow..if only you applied this logic elsewhere. Just sit and think for a second.

i hope they show it nonetheless. more reason for pac to take the test.

If it's going to be taken up on the court proceedings, the court can subpoena the network or smith to produce who is his source of these emails but then he can still hide or refuse to give his source citing journalism ethics. If he does, then it will not be favorable to the mayweathers case as it will only establish it came from them and then had to show proof it indeed came from Pac's camp which will be impossible to do in their part. If Smith doesn't it will only reinforce the case that there was indeed a concerted effort to defame maliciously a person.

I don't really see any way the mayweather can wiggle out of this one.
