Well the truth is ducky only fights fighters coming from a loss...de la hoya,cotto,margarito,mosley..all those people were damaged and most of them were already beaten by floyd..once they get inside the ring against duckqiao they're either drained or just want the money and leave because floyd took all they had.now ducky wanting to fight jmm at a catch weight where jmm has no chance to perform at his best is a true coward move by team duckqiao.but i bet his g@y fans are impressed.

Ring Magazine ranks Cotto the #1 in JMW, a division where they do not have a champion. If FMJ wins, he can proclaim himself as the man in that division. And... Cotto owns a belt.

He can prove to everyone that he is better than Pac by defeating Cotto more decisively than how Pac did it.

He can dispel the notion of some that he only wins in fantasy fights.

He will improve his ATG standing tremendously.
Not only will this NOT prove who's better between Floyd and Manny (none of their wins over common opponents can ever prove this)

BUT... He can't do that anyway lol. Manny destroyed Cotto in a way Floyd absolutely cannot. Floyd can outbox Cotto easy. Floyd can even stop Cotto, but not the same way Pac did

It's hard to take you seriously when you contradict your main point.

I assume u read my comment and saw that I said Pacquiao can do something better than Floyd and u think I'm just hating on Floyd... Which of course leaves u to NOT give a valid reply becuz u think I'm just a *******...

Floyd can outbox Cotto for 12 rounds, but he can't beat him until his face is a bloody pulp.

Floyd could stop him via TKO via corner stoppage, but he won't beat him to the point where the REF has to stop it in the middle of a round.

Take into mind, Floyd by stoppage is the UNLIKELY scenario

Now, can u be a big boy and make a valid reply now that I explained it better?

It is becoming obvious that those who are saying that this fight is pointless are giving reasons based on debatable assumptions that do not address the non-debatable issues:
Cotto is the top man at JMW and a belt holder, definitely not an
                indication of damaged goods.

He is the third best option for FMJ not unless he loses to Marg in a
rematch which then makes Marg the third best option.

His two losses are from fighters that FMJ has not fought, so how can
anyone assume that he will not be competitive with FMJ when no can
show how FMJ will fare against those two. Maybe only in fantasy fights?

It is now becoming clearer that some people would try to discredit the three
best options for FMJ [Sergio included] in order for him to avoid them. Would it not be better to say to FMJ to 'TAKE THE TEST FMJ, FIGHT THE BEST', right?

yeah , because we all know floyd got some bone -crushing , career-ruining , brain damaging power

floyd didn't beat anyone worthy in all his title fights , an old genaro henrandez ( not that he was a p4p great before that )

barely beat castillo ( and lost the first fight according to some people )

fought arturo the bum gatti instead of kostya for a meaningless alphabet belt

fought zab coming from loss ( zab rarely performs in big fights ,guy lost to clotey for ****'s sake )

fought baldomir who had like 12 losses or something ?

fought de la hoya who was 8 years past his prime

ducked almost every top 10 , and never had a unification fight , while pacquiao was fighting P4p guys one after another ( barrera ,morales , marquez )

                    so , lol at duckiao
