i'd pay to see floyd fight cotto.

i don't know why people say "oh so and so beat him already , no need to fight him" when it comes to fighters.

they're still around the same weight class. cotto is still a top fighter.

first, cotto is no jmm.....cotto need not go up the weight scales like jmm had to (who was eventually cheated by pbf) and cotto is much bigger than jmm...it will be a very interesting fight as it will highlight why cotto was reluctant to face PBF years back

Yeah, you didn't convince me why this fight NEEDS to happen. Honestly, fight is pointless, Cotto ain't gonna bring squat to the ring, even Ortiz has a better shot.

I agree it makes sense and is long over due but will probably never happen. Would of been a badass fight though. Wouldn't count Cotto out at all.

Simple, because it's NOT a competitive fight, what does Cotto bring, what has he done since losing to Pacquiao? The man is one handed, he hardly uses the right hand and that jab of his is only gonna get him pull counter'd. It's really not worth it. I'd watch it but it's not a fight I'd be excited for.
