I don't think many people on this site know **** about boxing.

I hear nothing but **** talking about the best fighters out there right now. Everyone is an armchair general here when it comes to rating fighters. I hear that Cotto is shot and that Clottey is no good and Ortiz is shot from Maidana.

The people here don't know **** about boxing.

Floyd is most definitely the underdog for this fight to me. Sure, Ortiz hasn't fought the best competition, but he's been busy, he's strong, he's bigger than floyd, and he's an aggressive southpaw. Floyd only has a slightly beefier record compared to Ortiz. He hasn't really fought great opposition in about 4 years now. Shane Mosley was definitely OLD when they fought and JMM was at too high of a weight for sure.

Floyd has skills, don't get me wrong... but if he can't control the pace for this fight like he is used to, I wouldn't be surprised to see him lose/get ko.

haha EXACTLY bro. I mean that is complimenting Floyd by comparing what he's doing to something Leonard did.

haha Get real dude. If you were forced to put your life saving on this fight you're telling me you'd put it on Ortiz? Yeah I didn't think so.

He's one of the best fighters in the world. He's undefeated, shows great ring intelligence, and most likely the most skilled boxer to date. How can you not hold him to a higher standard? Even with his age and layoff, I haven't seen any real decline to make me believe he doesn't have the advantage over most if not all fighters.

You have never seen Victor Ortiz fight before?

Why do you follow Boxing and not watch fighters fight?

Do you literally only watch Pacquaio? Genuine question.

"Floyd has the skill and athleticism advantages" that's all you had to say.

And I agree, but you are leaving out other important factors, which I already mentioned.
I wonder why floyd fans never mention that he has the wingspan of a heavyweight and that giant reach advantage plays a huge part in him being able to jab and counterpunch and movr so well.

Its also the reason why even as good as his defence is he is still very beatable on the inside and he keeps clear of fast guys like pacquiao who can get past that 1-2 and dudes loke margarito who can cut off the ring and make him work.

Ortiz does have a few but Floyd has more.

If Floyd fought Pacquiao, then Pacquiao would have more over Floyd. Also if he fought Martinez.
nor does he over pacroid. its amazing how ******ed you are, i thought this morning was enough but i guess not. lets see what pac has over floyd.

                  power: yes
                  IQ: nope
                  ability to adjust: nope
                  ring general ship: nope
                  footwork: nope
                  skills: nope
                  reach: nope
                  height: nope
                  inside fighting: nope
                  boxing: nope

floyd iwll be the favored fighter over pacroid for a reason. floyd will clown pacroid.

the reason floyd cant get away from critcs with his BS is coz he has done a lot of BS in the past...from cherrypicking to duckin , floyd is famous for it......same as like when it is known that a person is an ex- con, people would be looking at his way more than they would at regular person who has a clean record.......common sense people, common sense....
