Lets hope the speculation is true. The hype is definitely going to be there. All that's left is to step to the plate. The preshow mumbo jumbo has drug on long enough, time to get on the main stage and preform. No more "tune ups", "vacations", "breaks", time to step the *** up.
How is Ortiz is "solid" foe when he gets knocked down multiple times in alot of his fights? I mean he quit against Maidana and Khan and Morales made it to the final bell against him.
Floyd has been eating to much popeyes his brain has turned into slush.
You are just an idiot.
Times change, boxing is a learning curve, and boxers develop with experience.
You clown, everybody used to knock Pac the *** out before he became the "new" and "improved" pacroid.
Five-weight world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr believes that a win against WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz in September will propel him back into the top pound for pound fighters in the world. The 34 year-old faces Ortiz, ten years his junior, after a sixteen month spell out of the ring and aims to win his ninth world title.

GREAT JOB BOXINGSCENE MODERATOR'S !!
Thank you guys, much appreciated.
That guy has NEVER made a post that was not racially insensitive.
I will say this.
Victor better bulk up, and hit the bag hard, because that is his only advantage, his punching power. He is going to hit Mayweather very little, but when he does he is going to have to make Mayweather feel it.
Learn to cut off the ring, corner Mayweather and unload. Even if you're just catching arms and gloves, he has to unload.
I hope he doesn't do what so many others have tried and failed to do which is box him.
Exactly, good point. The key for Ortiz is constant effective pressure, a high output, and the durability to take Mayweather's counters and right hand lead.
Cotto and Margarito would be easy wins for Floyd? Define easy please. Because if those fights a re easy, what do you call this **** with Ortiz. This wouldn't even be a fight, it's a walk in the park for Floyd. Ortiz isn't a young lion, he's been defeated twice. He is damaged good after Maidana. He only looks good because Floyd wanted him to look good to justify this fight as PPV, but in all honesty, this fight is garbage.
O defense = fact
a GBP fighter= fact
fighter moving forward = fact
fighter that cant fight backwards = fact
flatfooted footed = fact
untested @ WW= fact
So tell me if this isn't a perfect opponent for floyd. Who the hell is picking ortiz to win. The guy who had problems against JrWW like lamont peterson, quitted against Madaina is being overlooked by a his win against an overrated Berto.

Why is FRAUD, such a great defensive fighter???
With Suspect WHISKERS, plus now heavy legs,
FRAUD will soon be EXPOSED this CLOWN, is Very
SMART to AVOID that Nasty FLIP, El PacMan!!!
Do boxer's earn a bonus subsidy for fighting old age pensioners ?
Name a more qualified opponent for Mayweather - and for that matter Pac also - than Victor Ortiz. I will wait.....
Give yourself an uppercut, because Ortiz is more of a live dog than Pacquiao's last 7 opponents.
That's the reason why pacquiao fans are soooooooo mad and hating on the fight because the fact of the matter is manny could've fought him if he had the balls to take the risk. He doesn't, that's why he's facing marquez at 144lbs, smfh. But don't worry fight fans, when both manny and floyds fights are over, and if they don't fight each other next, I can assure you they will fight victor ortiz, try to do better than mayweather n the ring and then claim that was the only fight available for them to take. Its a good thing "white people" love manny because floyd gets held to a level of perfection that pacquiao is allowed to be average for. Thanks floyd for fighting somebody who is deserving at there weight class.
I give him credit, it is no other fighter in boxing that would fight Ortiz or even JMM and consider that a "Warm-Up" fight especially coming off of a Layoff
Sitting around don't make your skills go away though...WARS AND MILEAGE ON YOUR BODY is what catches up, Mayweather haven't been in any Wars, haven't taken any pounding physically so I think it is Wishful thinking from some who are hoping to catch Mayweather slipping after a Layoff plus he stays in great shape
BOXING WISE FRAUD's got one foot in the
Grave, and the other on a Banana Peel!!!
