So tell me if this isn't a perfect opponent for floyd. Who the hell is picking ortiz to win. The guy who had problems against JrWW like lamont peterson, quitted against Madaina is being overlooked by a his win against an overrated Berto.
Ortiz is a welter, and a completely different fighter at 147.

Anybody who is CHOOSING to evaluate a boxer on a performance three years ago, rather than his most recent fight in his natural weight class, should give themselves an uppercut = fact.

I seem to remember alot of people wanting Pac to fight Berto before he signed for the borefest waist of $65 HD PPV fight against Mosley,

that fight didn't happen and Berto signs to fight Ortiz.

Berto and Ortiz go to WAR and Ortiz wins.

so Ortiz (now WBC champ) who went to war and beat the man everyone wanted Pac to fight is a nobody and Mayweather is just picking easy fights??

However Pac vs Mayweather HAS to happen in 2012 and the sooner the better as this whole *******/gayweather thing is getting old!

So people can discredit his choice even more?? lol, you can never satisfy everyone. Ortiz is the most legitimate choice (except for Pac and Martinez), although I would like to see him fight Khan when he goes up in weight.

That's funny, all that you said about ortiz is the exact same thing u can say about manny fighting marquez @ 144lbs in 2011, when mayweather proved marquez can't fight above 140lbs last year. Smh, seriously who the hell is picking marquez to win. Bottom line is there are legitimate threats and challenges for both fighters if they chose not to fight each other, at least mayweather doesn't mind taking on a challenge and after 16months off if there is anybody who deserves a tune up it should be him. Now go tell you boy to man up and stop fighting leftovers and has beens

This is going to be a boxing clinic...If Marquez can outbox this guy, what do you think Money is going to do to him....plus 20 mill guranteed....now that's boxing sense. Keep pushing that payday higher when he meets Manny.

Totally absurd, Pac fans should be ashamed.

Berto, was ready..... Ortiz, beat Berto..... but Ortiz, is not ready ?
